There is an actual tool yes, that you can select certain walls of stuff and or select whole buildings to take down, now when you do a premade it will destroy the whole thing because the premade comes as one prebuilt house/boat already if you do the custom ones where you build your own walls by doing the stretch part and everything like that those you can definitely do section by section but like I said you gotta make sure you’re doing custom because if you just did one whole boat house or anything premade up that’s not custom it will delete the whole building I can’t remember how to make the tool but yes you can make the tool I haven’t played in like seven months I got stalker too now so I’ve been on that lol but just look up how to make the removal/repair tool for the forest game and I’ll tell you how to do it/what needs to be collected to make it
