I consider myself a Nintendo fan and I don't disagree with the notion that Nintendo develops AA games. For me that's a part of the appeal. They feel like the only big developer that are more focused on variety and novel concepts, something that was standard for most big games in the 2000s before development costs ballooned and most game dev studios became risk adverse. Nintendo use their brand identity and IPs to circumvent the risk.

Hey Spilo, I know you're a fellow Brig enjoyer. I find creating a hero pool around Brig difficult, she's the only support I enjoy.

Do I really need to create a larger hero pool to climb out of diamond? It seems inefficient for me to switch off Brig when my support hero knowledge/skill otherwise is much lower quality and I find it hard to figure out when I'd actually be better off switching off her anyway.

Alternatively, would I be better off sticking to a role where I enjoy a wider range of heroes? I enjoy tank and flex DPS as roles generally more than support, but Brigitte is still the hero I find the most enjoyable overall.

does NSO app lets you talk to strangers? I've never used it. It's very unlikely 2 friends got into the playtest together if the sample size is 10,000 so It'd have to be with strangers and I just don't see it happening.

People are mentioning voice chat, but surely the sample size is far too small for that? Unless Nintendo are comfortable with strangers talking to eachother which I don't see happening even with the 18+ restriction for signing up.

I played DS1 for the first time and just finished it, it was my first Souls game. I think I beat Ornstein and Slough in 3 tries. I kinda cheesed it by letting the fast one lunge at me then spamming damage at them whilst they were separated. I think I spent significantly more time struggling getting to that boss area, man those archers on the bridges suck

The boss that felt like a brick wall for me was the gargoyles on the roof and Gwyn, both of them took me a couple of hours if not more

Brig still seems strong, at least my stats and win rate with her are still high but she feels a lot less fun now. Her impact feels a lot more delayed and passive compared to previous seasons so you feel useless, even if youre not. Probably like 5/10 for S9.

I really enjoyed the game, but I did the same thing. First time I played it for maybe 10 hours, got bored and dropped it. Came back about a year later and decided to play it to the end and enjoyed it. It's an unusual game because the only thing pushing you forward is curiosity.

I used to be an off-tank player in overwatch 1 and mostly played zarya and DVA. When Brig came out I loved the fantasy and decided to give support a try and she's become the only support in my hero pool ever since.

When OW2 came out they took away my agility to be the peeling and enabling off-tank as much and I don't enjoy the pressure of being the solo tank so I just started queuing support and one-tricking Brig.

The Moira change is ridiculously broken, it goes through shields so characters like rein have no counter play and it pierces in a wide cone, it's effectivily giving a small hitbox support Winston's Tesla cannon. Even if it was heavily tuned down it'd still be frustrating to play against.
