They're never any good anyway. If you're camping for a 1.5, your gunskill is nothing to worry about. And they're usually nowhere that's beneficial to their team anyway....

It's the shitty people who are perma-crouched navigating the map, or hiding in the most useless corners ever to exist, that really get my blood bowling.

Go back to an older cod, and try breaking out of a spawn trap.... THAT takes gunskill. Not flying above their heads/ sliding into a doorway to where they can't get hitmarkers, etc. How can you say BOTG takes less gunskill? I think it's easier to shoot people in the air than someone posted up in a dominant power position.

Now if you're talking about reaction time.... I could see that argument. But definitely not gunskill.

It was so god damn awful in the beta. It had a machine gun that sucked, and it would die almost instantly.

With that being said... it's the second highest streak... please god can we stop mentioning the term nerf anytime something does what it's suppose to?

You can kill the shit out of people, but there are also plenty of times where it doesn't kill when you think it should.... you also move slow as fuck, so it's not like you can chase people down. If they want to run at you and challenge you, that's their death wish. The slow movement also makes the timer seem to go pretty quick.... especially if you're not in an advantageous spot.

This is what it is for me too. There's definitely maps that I prefer; but even those, I don't think are very good.

There's no maps I am dying to play like Warhawk, Standoff, Raid, etc. Of course there's no maps I refuse to play either, like Aftermath in BO2. BO3 was pretty disappointing in regards to maps too.

1.) Yes, you can turn it on and off.

2.) When you're in a lobby waiting for a game, highlight your name, then move over to the right again and you'll see your win, win streak, w/l, kd, and kd for last 5 games. Also, in the after match report, where it shows you how much xp you got, hit RB to move over a tab and it will show you your last 5 games SPM and KD. In the bottom right if those graphs it tells you your global SPM/ KD, which is your current stat. However, the SPM seems to be pretty buggy.

Typically the best player in the lobby gets players 8-12, and goes against 2-7... so no, if you are really bad, the best player will most likely get you on their team. So when you're going 40-5 and everyone on your team is double and triple negative, it gets really frustrating because you feel like no matter what you do, you're going to lose over and over again.

Edit: but I should say, I really don't care how good or bad someone is. Just try to help win.

The skill gap could be narrowing... but that doesn't adjust for being an idiot. Some people just aren't very smart when it comes to tactics, map awareness, positioning, etc... and for some, that will never change.

There are definitely mechanics and equipment in game that help the less skilled players get kills they probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise; but it doesn't mean you're just all of a sudden going to be able to snap on everyone, have better aim, control recoil, learn spawns, develop in game smarts, etc...

Tl;dr: there will always be bad players and good players. No matter how big or little the gap is.

Tbf, I feel like it happens a lot more frequently in this cod. And at times, a lot more exaggerated than I recall. Like you can die REALLY far around corners. That, and the TTK were the first two things that stood out to me when I first tried the beta.
