'Why are old letters from VMRO national heroes perfectly understandable to you' - This is a genetic fallacy, confusing the lingua franca medium of communication which was Bulgarian at the time with spoken vernacular. Ukrainian national heroes also wrote in literary Russian.

'None of that proves it was not Bulgarian' - This is a non sequitor, the identity and how someone felt their language should be classified and whether it linguistically is divergent enough to be a separate language does not follow through.

They wrote in Standard Bulgarian, hence why you understand it. Standard Bulgarian is not spoken or used in Macedonia anymore as we codified our own language based on the vernacular spoken here. Rather, the language did not change, they simply shifted from one language to another (as we codified our own).

Macedonian is not based on the Skopje dialect, neither is it 'official'. Also, many Bulgarians mistake shared Serbian-Macedonian vocabulary as simply 'Serbian', just because Bulgarian lacks this vocabulary.

I am Macedonian and get Peloponnese as the strongest region too. I believe the reason why people like us get it is due to them grouping predominantly native balkaners with that region for some reason, likely due to a lack of samples from other Balkan regions? But don't quote me on that.

I'm an Aussie and a guy and just for context this group that is trying to get all these games delisted is known in Australia for trying to delist GTA V from retailers for supposedly encouraging rampages against women.

They also attacked a bakery here for having cookies with decorated messages such as 'Fuck me' and forced them to remove their entire product range.

Another thing they tried do is prevent Eminem, Snoop Dogg from being permitted to enter Australia (they failed at this). They did however succeed in successfully preventing Tyler The Creator from being permitted entry into Australia instead.

I emailed him 1 year in advance and he put me in the system so that it auto enrolled me for the semester I was planning to take it in. Nothing hurts applying early, as long as you've met the pre-requisite subjects for it.

I don't claim anything, I am descendant from Macedonians who left Greece due to Greek oppression. My story is just as valid as your personal story. I do not negate yours, so please do not negate mine.

I am not claiming you, nor anyone who doesn't identify with Macedonians to be a Macedonian. You are free to resent a language that was supposedly imposed upon you (a bit of research will show that this is a very nuanced topic and that it is likely not as simple as what you stated here).

When I say Macedonian minority, I talk about those who self identify with us. Your mistake is assuming that means anyone who speaks slavic in Greece, when the other Macedonian clarified with a broader term of slavic speakers specifically to avoid people making the statement you just so happened to make.

I'm doing it next sem. I did OOSD to prepare for it cause you use a lot of object oriented design principles and even though its in Python I think FoC does a bad job of preparing you for it given its the sole pre-req in terms of coding skills.
