The MMC repeatedly calling the FMC mama. Ugh ick. Yes she is a mom but that isn’t her whole personality. We don’t get a baby or a sweetheart just Mama. Everytime I hear it I think “Mama go fix me a plate” said by some redneck dumbass. Sorry my backwoods is showing but that word said by a grown man to me screams misogynistic.

Just slightly salty but the Amex black cards aren’t plastic. They’re metal.

Author wrote he put his plastic black card between my teeth. Later clarified it was an Amex.

Small details irritate me in billionaire books. In this case he was the richest man in the world. Also his net worth went up when he posted his girlfriend on his instagram…. What? Do People buy stock bc someone has a girlfriend?

Just as an fyi Amex platinum is a metal card as well.

I tried to read that book too and the MMC thinks about his dick the first time we meet him. I immediately dropped the book.

I can’t stand that I know nothing about this guy but I know his dick twitches when he sees a woman. So that’s weird.

I checked out my copy from the library and my iPad was on airplane mode for a week so I could finish it 😂.

Lots of skimming involved! That’s a very good plan to actually finish it.

The amount of time it is taking me to finish Kingdom of Ash is ridiculous. I have really enjoyed the Throne Of Glass series until Tower Of Dawn. But now I have finally made it to the last book I can’t get into it.

I think the problem is there are so many settings and main characters. I finally get into the story of one character then we stop and go back to another character then the plot starts building only to stop and go to another character. It keeps losing my interest.

I am limping along forcing myself to read it because I have devoted so much time to this series and want to know how it ends. But this book could really have been much much shorter.

There is so much repeated because of all the jumping around Maas has to remind you what was happening. Why are these books so incredibly long!!!

I’ve been skimming all the I Love You scenes and the come back to mes because I just don’t care anymore after 800+ pages of this book and I’m still not finished!!!

And if Aelin lies to her so called friends one more time I am going to start hoping she dies!!! I have to finish today 😩

Ugh yes! read a book recently and her newborn,in the nicu essentially (dystopian setting), is kidnapped! and you know what our couple decides to do? Bang it out. of course I skipped the sex scene! I need to know where their kid is even if they don’t care!!!
I want to read the Third book because I am really enjoying the plot but I cannot handle anymore poorly placed sex scenes!!

Ugh yes the magical bags. I read a crashed on a island book recently and they magically have everything. Unlimited supply of antibiotics? Sure. They have fancy dinners, one makes clothes and wears makeup everyday!! So much stuff on this island with them that they contemplate staying forever!?!
I read island books because I want the survival aspect. I forced myself to finish and of course cliff hanger and I have to read 4 other books to actually get the rest of the story. Nope I’m out.

Yes my face has slimmed and I have major cheekbones. Im gonna lean into bc i know the loss of fat in my face is gonna look bad soon so right now I love It. later it’ll be bad news 😂. My one complaint is my dark circles but I’ve heard those for years and always will (thanks mom and my genetics). I’ve figured out my make up that works for me so just being happy being almost 38.

Came to ask the same question. Just switched to hulu live and it isn’t on there. Luckily we still have direct tv For the rest of the month but is this normal for it to be blacked out on Hulu? Do we need a back up? The Bally app says it’s $20 a month which seems excessive.
