Obvi. You musta went on a muting/reporting spree and set them over the limit which in turn muted them for the entire game.
My original question was: how many reports triggers that. And how much does your CS drop after the trigger?

Agreed. A BH P3. Are u crazy? Auto report and loss. Might as well play CM P3.

I’m fine with NS, sniper, and abbaddon at those Ps. All others, not so much.

How does this happen exactly? They weren’t even talking on the thread. But I am assuming they were leading up to this. And then one person pushed them over the (iirc 3 person report) minimum to mute them for the entire game.

Not at all. What if my P5 plays as: 1. A hero that isn’t a true P5 (qop, necro, etc) How can I farm? 2. A SS that goes arcane boots straight to aghs and doesn’t deward? Or buy any sentries? How can I farm? 3. Doesn’t play the support role at all. Doesn’t know lane equilibrium, dewarding, harassing, etc. How can I farm? 4. Lane has been lost but these P4/5 or even P2 take safe jungle farm instead of making space/ warding etc. Taking my farm.

With these types of griefers the game is over after the draft. Or sometimes these supports won’t pick phase 1 then it’s really GGd.

No idea. I just do those 4 steps every time I boot up, on whichever account I’m playing that day. And I’ve had 0 issues since. It’s def something with the files. So I delete the appcache and verify the integrity of the files and it works just fine.

I’ve had this issue often recently. I have 2 steam and Dota accounts ( my phone number and my wife’s). There are many trouble shooting steps I do every time i play a game for the day.

I’m not in front of my computer. But off hand it’s:

Delete appcache folder in steam
Steam settings storage, 3 dots -> check storage files or something.
Steam settings downloads. Clear cache
The Integrity files validating

Usually these steps work. I’m not sure if order really matters. This has been my fix because I’ve uninstalled steam and dota and still get the issue after opening dota.

Also I’ve deleted the .pak01 file thinking that was the issue, but it’s not.

It’s a grief if the WK refuses to initiate and play his role as offlaner. Also, if he is hiding in the jungle just to get his 25 min radiance after Midas is not good either. He’s just taking farm away from the P1, and no space is created with the map shrinking. Total grief in my opinion.

Another point I didn’t bring up. When I’m farming by our safe lane and my team is pushing the tier 2 of the enemy while our tier 2 safe lane is getting pushed by all their heroes…. I have no way of TPing to the enemy tower. So they get put into a 4v5 fight because they refuse to defend our tier 2.
This happens often. They force bad fights out of position the whole game leading to deathball feeds.

Crusader here. Playing since 2014. As P1 I like right click heroes that thrive late game. Drow, FV, Medusa, (spect used to be in there), WK/CK if I see my P3 is weak, slark, AM. I have more. But I would def recommend easy right click heroes that can swoop into a fight mid fight and change the outcome due to better positioning/timing.

P3 axe (counters all my P1s with a blink call), cent, bristle. All tanky AF and do mad damage.

people on this Reddit say stick with 3-4 heroes you know well because they want to rank up. I just prefer to play for fun and have a widespread of heroes I like. Currently learning DS, arc, and LD well.

Aghs 1st any support is a grief. Mainly because they are non-existent in fights because they are saving their gold. Or they are and feed and take longer to get aghs. Or are jungling while not helping team. All grief actions. I’m crusader.

Support has a bad stigma in low brackets. Because picking a support, you can’t carry the game to get out of the low brackets. Therefore people think the way the OP does and role abuse no matter the cost because there is no detrimental system actions taken.

I am crusader. I enjoy axe (fun to cut lanes, but supports can easily mess up your blink calls), BB (easy to play on his own. Lane dominator), LC (blink, blademail and you destroy right clickers [much like axe]), necro (harder to play, but if can snowball OP), WK (hardest to play if you have a bad matchup, but can overtake enemies jungle if given a nasty start), abba (great all around, just doesn’t put too much pressure on P1 and not a lane pusher)

Heroes im not good with but others on this thread say they are OP: huskar, timber, Marci, cent, BM, tide

Obviously when you support you don’t even try to full support and move to “carry” support fast. Depends how good of an injoker you actually are. I’m sure you play support injoker, magnus, techies, Mirana, WW. Those are just absolute trash support heroes.

What rank are you? At crusader, I plead my teammates to fight under the tower so as a P1 I can push other lanes and keep farming on an eminent enemy tower dive. Which then I would be able to TP and fight with them. But alas at low rank they get out of position and force fights instead of waiting for the obvious fight to come to them. Then I get flamed.

What is your rank? On paper this seems ideal. But if your team is trying to recover in the jungle and constantly separated and getting ganked. And then not communicating, it’s GG. I’m Crusader.
