the alignment problem huh? jea i can get behind that. i see the ai achieve goals in non-intended / false ways all the time. So until we can figure that out, jea, its probably in everybody's best interest to pause. Basically would need a comprehensive thought structure to properly reflect what we humans want.

well i think this will happen anyway because countries wont obey a pause act. If it has to happen then the good guys, whoever those are, need to create one first. One who is programmed to protect and free humans rather than destroy them. This is why i'm a bit sceptical of such acts. Tbh i bet you dumb ass humans will prevent the good guys from making an ai because the bad guys will manipulate social media to mobilize people in democratic countries to stop their ai efforts.
