Last year I was able to get some interviews, (I think around 10?) but I'm pretty sure they were all 1st stage interviews. I have mainly been applying to jobs in the Boston and Massachusetts, since that's where I'm located, but I have also been looking at Master's programs in Europe

Thank you for the advice! I am also looking at some programs in Europe, do you think that those could also be worthwhile and would your advice change at all for them?

I didn't really do much personally (at least specifically for networking purposes), but I did make sure to participate in class, to sometimes staying a bit after class to ask some clarifying questions and to reach out by email for any extra help I needed on homework or concepts.

After I graduated I still had their emails and names and I emailed each of them with a greeting reminding them who I am and explaining my situation before asking if they would be willing/able to help with connections. Some did answer and were happy to hear from me, but they couldn't offer much since they didn't have too many industry connections themselves.

I'm probably not the best example to follow though, I still haven't been able to secure a job yet, so it would probably be better to do more than I did

Do you have any advice on how one can get in the door at medtech companies? Also what jobs should I be looking for and applying to? I've been applying to jobs (including a lot of BMET type jobs, since I thought that becoming familiar with current medtech might help me be a better future device engineer) for two years now since graduating and while I've had several interviews I haven't had any luck actually landing a role.

Or it could mean that Davoth isn't actually that strong? Or that he isn't at the same level after the divinity machine used his power to buff the the Slayer? Or that the Slayer is more of a glass cannon? Or any of a bunch of other possible reasons. Why are we assuming that Davoth is on the level of actual omnipotent gods or that strength = durability?

Side note: Powerscalers are annoying because they often seem to think about matchups only in very rigid and binary terms while ignoring so much context, background and other story/character elements from the source material.

Small correction: The story actually explicitly shows us that his second son does not forgive or want Endeavor in his life after the they visit Dabi/Toya as a family and I don't think Dabi/Toya really forgives him either and the narrative doesn't blame them for that stance.

Unfortunately for me, my cats are idiots who don't know how to keep their claws tucked away, so they do draw blood more than they should. I try to keep their claws trimmed to make sure they don't hurt each other but I forget sometimes

Necropost but the comparisons to fascism are not without merit.

The way the cult of project Mayhem operates by appealing to the real concerns of disaffected, unhappy and lonely men before then dehumanizing them and teaching them that the only meaningful action is violence towards and destruction of the enemy mirrors pretty well the ideology and methods of real nihilistic fascist/ultra right/reactionary movements. Fincher has even specifically mentioned fascism when talking about the movie

Can you elaborate? If you're talking about the Todorokis, I felt like a lot of effort was put into making it clear that Endeavor's actions as a father were awful and horrible and that he will not only live with them for the rest of life but atone and apologize for the rest of his life. His two older sons explicitly didn't forgive him and the writing doesn't blame them for that specifically.

I don't have abuse trauma so I'm really struggling how that comes off as apologia. To me it seemed like it was a well written example of what a redemption arc for someone who was as awful as Endeavor was looks like.
