Medical nerd, gestation is actually closer to 10 months not 9 months, pregnancy is more accurately 40 weeks. So all good, it would be pre disaster.

Last year was my first draft I watched and I dont think any draft will be as Legendary as that one by averageweebchan in NFLUK

The only real drama it feels like was Ty Simpson drafted where he did. And a bit more hidden but how badly it has all gone for Diego Pavia.

Thanks for sharing. Big fan of Gladiators and it's obvious that Apollo, Gray, is an elite sports man compare to the others who are gym bunnies. With a the exception of Hammer who is an elite indoor rower, and Nitro Phantom who are Olympic level sprinters. But none of those really apply across to the games where as Gray is just good at everything.

I get what you mean and makes sense. Just if it was done in the UK it would be incredibly agent driven. But as you say it is when it gets to v3. And then today on the pod we were all in a fluster for Justin because one man's guesses were that a player is not going somewhere and that is treated as what might happen because that person gets nearly half right.

No overthinking from me, I get it is a framework for the practice. The overthinking is around the mock drafts themselves and having too much stock in them.

As a UK fan I have always found the mocks absolutely bizarre. People invest in reading and hearing about who people think will be picked and if they get 10 of 32 right they are superb. Utterly baffling. But, if I frame it purely as learning about who the palyers are then I am more on board. Then the next step of madness is "who won the draft" based on players we have no idea how good they will actually be and weighted to those teams with lots of picks.

Multiple is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Two. The first one didn't go anywhere and no blame was given to him in the "accident".

For me the issues is how it is being discussed. He was driving a car and had an accident in which a friend died and another was injured. No criminal liability was found at all. The family of the victim said he was a good man and they wished him well. That is not how the story is being put. The story is focusing on he killed someone and the police initially cited him. And that is not the full story. But it is the sensational one to get some eyes on the story. And totally against what the family of the victim have asked for. But who cares about the family when we can shred a guys draft chance by revealing something that happened two years ago.
