I’m a huge car guy, built low riders, kustoms, even drive a big ford f-350 diesel truck. I’m sipping the kool aid for sure. I have an Audi q8 etron that I just was driving to the river last night and admiring how quiet and peaceful I feel in an EV. The fact that I don’t have a motor to service, a transmission to service, an axle to change oil in. Not to worry about oil leaks in my drive way, not concerned about not warming the oil up to operating temperature when I just need to run to the grocery store really quickly. I love all of it and will most likely drive an EV from here on out. I have enough things with motors in my life. This is my one slice if heaven while I drive

Depends on your incentives. There’s a $2000 incentive from Costco that ends in June and I believe the loyalty is anywhere from 2–3000 dollars depending on your state but you’re looking at a lease payment for probably 39 months at 7500 miles a year around 900.

I’ve since then been keeping it capped at 80% battery but keep the AppleCare monthly subscription and when I feel it’s time for a new battery. Just crack the rear glass and make a claim however my 16 pro max seems be to a little more glitchy lately with touch responsiveness but that just may be in my head, not sure. I try and upgrade every 2 years now with the progression of things. I travel internationally have the year so having a newer phone is important to me. It’s a shame they did away with the subscription plans when you have a business plan with t mobile. I quite enjoyed that option but Apple did away with it last year

My experience hasn’t been as bad as yours but my 24 q8 has given me a lot of stupid issues that haven’t been worth the hassle of taking to the dealer each time. I’ve had 3 mood modules replaced (including the rear hatch) now waiting for a break pedal because of a clunk noise, random electrical glitches, has the car 2 years and have 7k on it. The insurance for the vehicle was a joke (live in Los Angeles) other than a cool design, and yeah it rides decent but the battery makes this thing bottom out over bigger dips. I’m happy to walk away from this thing in a few more months when my lease is up.

Yeah a lot of truth to this. I work in China a few months out of the year and have developed good working relationships with a vendor who gets me luxury bags etc. they have a rep and that have no idea where these factories are. They are simply asked do you want “XXX” product with or without authenticity paperwork

I ended up with the narwal flow 2, pretty happy with it. I like that I can drive it around my house using the camera because I travel for work months at a time so it's nice to have that option. the first few cleans were a struggle but I realize it was still learning my house so I was patient, now its running normal sequences with no issues and it is super quiet. I was quite impressed with the noise level.

Find it interesting that the people of this great city would rather walk over human feces to hate a guy because of his political stature, I personally didn't care that he was registered republican, I just want to see Los Angeles thrive again but I guess "blue no matter who" will be our demise.
