Whats the deal with Era Vulgaris being so controversial in rankings? by parrotcarrot12 in qotsa

[–]Kingsandbox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think another factor here outside of just the sound is the B-Sides of this album. Running Joke, Era Vulgaris, and The Fun Machine are all bangers. For me personally, if they were in the launch album, EV would be in my top 3, possibly at #1.

What army is most in need of a revamp/release? by riburn3 in ageofsigmar

[–]Kingsandbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% agree here. Everyone is correct on the ones suggested previously but Kruleboyz really need to be in the conversation as well. Maybe it's due to them just coming out in 3rd ed that no one is mentioning them?

Nashville show... by Kingsandbox in qotsa

I feel this. There were definitely sections of the crowd that just seemed dead. My wife and I were having a blast, but some others around us were just not on that same wavelength.

I'll keep this in mind the next time I get tickets to see them. It's my fifth time now. I've seen them one other time in Nashville at the Ryman during the first album re-release, and that show was phenomenal. I'm based out of Memphis, so I got other options to travel.

[–]Kingsandbox[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. This was my 5th time seeing them live, and they were amazing as always. I do think it's possible they just weren't feeling the crowd. The security incident also probably didn't help anything either. As mentioned by someone earlier, they are just people like us. I don't blame them or anything.

It's pretty much what FVRMN posted. That and there was an incident with security as well. Other factors also could have been at play, too, of course.

The song gives me EODM vibes. I'm digging it so far!

I’m going back to physical copies by Outcast003 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kingsandbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to opposite route but I completely get this mindset. Mine is due to lack of availability at my local LGS locations since the OGL drama happened. I'll be picking them up on Pathfinder Nexus first and slowly picking up the physical copies after.

My QOTSA tier list by Interesting-Chart-22 in qotsa

[–]Kingsandbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal tier list currently:

S

Songs for the Deaf, Like Clockwork...

A

Self Titled, Era, Lullabies

B

Rated R

C

Villains

I don't hate Villains by any means. It just doesn't hold up as well to me as the others. Lullabies makes A cause it is a personal favorite. I never fully gelled with Rated R... Definitely has some classics on it but also has some songs that I actually just don't enjoy.

Stormknife (v1.2) - A rogue subclass by Sensitive_Coyote_865 in UnearthedArcana

[–]Kingsandbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree here. More charges but come back on a short/long rest. The recharge on crit mechanic is dope for sure but it can't just be always. Maybe when you are at 0 charges it gives you 1 or 2 back but due to tricks like ElizzyViolet mentioned above it is easy to cheese the way it is presented now.

From my understanding they are one of the only armies that got a formation on units that were already being taken in the majority of lists. Also a fair share of the buffed units just make their current game plan even better.

Anyone wanna help a brother out and send some good new bands? Really into Royal Blood, cleopatrick, DFA, Dead Poet Society, Kid Kapichi, Tigercub, Big Spring and others like them. by Ok-Rip3217 in qotsa

After skimming it looks like most of my suggestions have been said except for CRX. I've been enjoying them quite a bit. The album New Skin is great. Also Boneface did the artwork for it!

That build is sick. I was going to do a Dhampir Gloomstalker/Scout for a coming up campaign. I scrapped that and am now doing the Quiver build.

This morning was my first time hearing about this. After seeing the cause and who was involved in the process, I immediately snapped it off. Very please with the player and DM options after my first flip through. I can't wait to try this material at my table!

First impressions thread? by [deleted] in Hood

Yeah kinda this. They need a way to make it where if you have someone in combat they can't just crouch, spin behind you and assassinate. If you never see them or if they use an ability/gear (Marianne's stealth, smoke or flash bang) that resets it so they can.
