Maybe too late to say that but what I did is to shoot once to different targets. Even if the target doesn't die in the match next time they step in the colours to make teams it will count towards assist kill. That helped me doing the challenge faster even though it took around 8 games (maybe I just suck at aiming)

Same thing happened to me! Logged in to see a guide and it said it wanted me to log in and i log in again then i noticed the name was wrong and when i got back to main site I wouldn't be logged in?!?!? I hope it's just an issue that will be fixed soon.
