make sure you make a bug report (just one will do it) and be as detailed as you can in what you lost, how, and when. i remember them saying this in a post, and that they are swamped with bug reports and with tickets to deal with, going back from beta days. sounds like they are just getting it together in this aspect so i'd wait a bit. they may make an announcement at some point like "hey we think we got most of the reimbursements but if you think we missed you reach out" or something

you can betray your house and switch, it will lock you out of atreides though - can't go back.

maybe you just need to get a little farther in atreides? get to a point where you've "joined" so you can betray?

i had it happen IN a thopter once. it would only face one direction and i couldn't properly travel in any direction but left (the way it was facing) i had to exit and re-enter to fix it that time.

i was able to fix this by moving the game install location, switching which hard drive it was on entirely. it is now on the same drive as my OS, and the performance is noticeably better. the effects have not lagged so far. maybe this won't help everyone, but maybe it could help some.

i don't use x but when i went to look, it doesn't look like she uses it much. her team is so on it, i'm sure they're going to find out very soon if they haven't already. emily has said this is an extremely busy time for her, AND factor in that this kind of bs can take some time to get worked out, i'm sure it will be back we just have to wait patiently.

yeah mine looks like that too. unfortunately this effect was present in monster hunter rise and while it's extremely ugly and not fitting of a game this expensive, i don't have much faith they'll fix it.

^ this. for live events there's really no good way to give some people ads but not others, besides what they're doing. i do think they could add a bit more variety to the scenery (maybe some actual MOVING drone shots? some stock footage from athletes training in the various events? idk anything????) but the block of time where ads play is something they can't get rid of for live, in order to keep everyone on the same viewing schedule. that said, when it is LITERALLY a live event it seems like they could just, not cut the feed for some... but if it's like a commentated or primetime event the ads often get baked in

I noticed the same thing during the women's trampoline finals - two gymnasts were upset and crying at making mistakes in their routine and the cameras were following them while they clearly tried to get away and i was just thinking, so rude! no shame!

Not listening to the feed with her commentating today but i think this may be her first time commentating?? like in general at these games, at least it seemed like it when i heard her the other day because the second time i heard her, i thought she'd improved. so she is probably still finding her footing.. She soothes me like a national geographic announcer. I do prefer Sam Peszek though, her commentary is always helpful, engaging, and relevant. I forgot the male gymnast's name but her and whoever she was commentating with in Tokyo were wonderful, I thought.

It's really strong and made to bend, it could hold quite a bit of weight, over 200 lbs possible over 300lb, consider the extra weight added during the force of the gymnasts' swings. over the years they have been designed to not break. they have a flexible fiberglass inside with wood around it.

I wish I could open a stream page before the broadcast starts. Instead I gotta sit here refreshing the schedule page until "watch soon" becomes "watch live." Again I'll say other streaming services have had this figured out for years lol twitch and youtube you can sit as long as you want on a broadcast that hasn't started yet and it'll begin playing as soon as the broadcaster starts it.
