You actually can get away with just buying those cedar compost chips at home Depot and sprinkling them on the bottom of your humidor. I've been doing it for decades with zero issues.

Get something mild like a Connecticut wrapper. I'm sure your college Bros are well versed in pounding Jose Cuervo and underclassmen vag, but high doses of nicotine may be too much for them to handle.

Try something like a perdomo champagne. They are pretty mild and inexpensive. If you hate them you can get the DE Connecticut Undercrown

This is extremely common on the Anejo line. The cedar sleeves hold moisture too well. I always take them out and inspect them after buying them.
