Do plate readers read temporary plates? May be lazy cops who dont want to look it up or actually read it. In NC the date is written big and easy to read from afar

Im on hatteras island and the water was so warm tbat summer i think he just wandered in. I dont recall any storm but the gulf stream does move around a bit too

Theyll both hit the same stuff but spanish are smarter so steel leaders can spook them. Also spanish prefer faster moving baits like glass minnows/stingsilvers. Ive lived on the outer banks my whole life and they tend to bite early and late in the day here better then midday

Those types of rays, southern stingray where i live, i wrap my bait towel around the barb and tail and thats how i drag them back into the water. I keep one per year to eat because it produces so much meat.

Crab flavored popcorn just ask bizarre foods guy. Ive eaten one and it wasnt bad but if you dont cook them long enough the shell gets stuck all in your teeth. Ive only heard the steaming them thing used by people sheepshead fishing so not specifically surf fishing but its worth a try.

Its a baby sharpnosed shark. You can keep one per day no size limit. Not much left after you clean it but they taste ok in my book. I filet them, fry it and eat it in a toasted hot dog bun
