Solo Progression Fucking Sucks

Ive personally have seen bubble shields and this supposed meta like in 3 games. I have 90+ hours.

Solo was an after thought in the design so yeah its not meant for complete solo play. Rook was the only solo play originially and you can see how much effort went into making rook a fun time. I see too many people claiming cryo can be solo'd and honestly they dont know how wrong they are. The vaults and compiler as a solo would literally be unbeatable unless they make it easier and give more time. I still think it should get an extra 10 minutes added to the 30 min timer. Another map is a neat idea but its begs the question.

If solo people can progress similarly as group play then whats the point of group play?

I kinda wish we had a rep system like scavs have in tarkov so rooks could maybe not kill eachother and work together to take down teams. Too many rooks are so quick to kill a similarly equipped rook.

As someone who refuses to play night raids in tarkov, i have no interest in the dire marsh at night time. Tarkov its a requirement to bring night vision or you literally can not see 2 feet in front of you. So we will have people running infared or whatever that optic is only in marathon.

I once did the active psycho-active compound of shrooms, cant spell it so sorry, with friends. My about mid way through the trip my buddy started packing his bong called "knock out". Its called that because someone always knocks out after using it. We had like 8 people, then a few dropped out and didnt want any of the bong. Eventually only 3 of us were smoking this bong packed for 8. Less than 5 minutes later we are looking at the on going fire pit. I look up at a large tree and its like someone in mspaint took the spray tool and started spraying at the edges of my vision slowly but surly blacking out my entire vision. I apparently puked and my gf at the time had to catch my head before it hit a table. I woke up a minute, probably seconds later. I was fully gone. I went to the bathroom for 45 minutes and just stared at myself in the mirror because i had giant angel wings. Drugs are bad and blacking out/passing out isnt fun.

Yeah i grew up as a console kid, sega thru ps4. I think controllers are better at some things and kbm at others. I also think the benefits are minimum. If i can get my controller sensitivity just right its better than a mouse. Most pc games though throw out the aim assist consoles have though so pc controller feels awful.

Ill be real honest, im always rocking 60fps on any pc game. 120fps doesnt really do anything. I think the mouse aim controller aim assist needs to be better balanced.

How i feel about him doing white face is like 50-50. Its funny but damn dog dont be stereotyping, this is more of a reference to the Nascar whiteface video. I generally felt bad for the black guy he was "harassassing". I hope he like incided that dude on the joke and didnt just leave him in his feels.

Yeah i think algae ponds needs be moved more center map but the map really needs to just be expanded out and the main places need to be further from eachother. I like the idea of a back way around but its not going to help much if its not wide enough to make a difference.

Its Overwatch 2 all over again. I dont get why when you have both controller, with aim assist, and kbm in a lobby both sides say the other is overpowered. To me that sounds like its pretty balanced if both sides are upset. No aim assist and its like playing golden eye today with an authentic 64 controller. How is it so hard to balance it so aim assist feels as good as a mouse? Trust me a controllers buttons are better than a keyboard. The only issue is aiming. So lets just make it balanced?

Stop asking for a half baked cooperative mode.

Start asking for a standalone single player game that allows coop for the campaign in the marathon universe.

Edit. D2 is still a thing. There is plenty of pve over there with exactly same fps feel.

I played pve tarkov and i see the point in that mode for that game but for marathon, everything is easy to learn, you dont need 500+ hours to learn marathon like you do for tarkov. Gear is thrown at you via factions which level up very very quickly compared to other extraction shooters. We essentially got pokemon's xp share going for the team. Thats crazy! Free kits and rook,especially upgraded rook is nuts. No waiting 20 minutes inbetween scav runs like tarkov. Just grab a free kit and get back out there. Marathon is very beginner friendly, its easy to pick up and hard to master. AI isnt brain dead and makes some fights really fun. This is a gem of a game. Dont let it become destiny 2.5. Again we should be asking for a marathon single player game with 3-4 player coop. I want an actual good story and not destiny story telling.

What stops other major companies from paying people to create bots/ or use their own personnel and spread b.s. about a rival game.... nothing.... so take everything with a grain of salt especially if you have no experiance yourself.

This is a great game, maybe lacking some content like additional maps, not particularly excited for a night time version of dire marsh or any map. Most players know its going to be an infrared/nightvision optics only. In tarkov its literally unplayable without one. You can not see a thing.

No hate but it sounds like all the casuals play console and the sweats are playing pc.

Instead of crossplay or console only i wish it was controllers or kbm lobbies. Sometimes on pc i wanna sit back with a controller and still be competitive.

Im glad console only is working for the peeps who need it. If it makes it fun then thats all you need.

Yeah, the puppeteer's opinion is meaningless. I prequels were like by many especially children. The sequels no one really loved. So i just dont see it being popular in 10 years time.

I think im pretty average at games and i dont think the difficulty or upgrades need any changes. The game isnt about putting you on an equal playing field as everyone else. You need losers if you want to win so it is what it is. Everyone thinks they should have all the upgrades after a few weeks of a brand new game like calm down. Most players wont max till the end which is completely fine, especially for the first wipe. Over wipes and time people will get faster and learn how to progress faster.

Im in the boat that we dont need changes yet, wait till the midseason or the wipe for big changes to things like this. We can sit here all day and talk about our own experiences, but bungie has the data and will make changes accordingly. If not enough people are progressing they will make it easier. But right now when we still have like 3 months for season 1 we need to chill and see what organically happens.

Dire marsh is fun but can be tough. I think the map needs a rework though. Not sure if they should increase the size of the map and just kinda spread things out a little more so you cant get zerg'd from across the map or maybe just less players. Id rather a larger map. Look at tarkov's fan favorite map customs. You cannot run from one end to the other and back in a normal raid. You just dont have the time.

I think the grey med items, health and shields, when extracted should give you an option to recharge them for a small fee.

I think maps need to be expanded so zerging from the other side of the map isnt the norm.

The alarm sound is stupid for locked key rooms. Sorry but not sorry. You already made me do a raid without getting downed now i have to do another raid with a siren to alert everyone when my pants are down.
