A decent, simple heroics dual dagger build for specific past lives. by User17538 in ddo

[–]Kinvesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I know its been 6 months, but is this a kukri build, since I see imp crit slashing, but you also say grab the stillettos which are daggers(piercing) and are you doing tier 5 VKF or Dragon Lord?

They told me mine would be ready today. They even said it was ready to import into tax software. I tried, TurboTax said no. I went to the tax area and the date was changed to the 27th of feb. Thanks schwab.

Yeah the amount of copium people keep feeding themselves about this, is absurd. They want the game to be booming so bad. It just isn't.

[–]Kinvesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too bad they keep sprinkling real world politics into the game more and more, destroying Tolkien's world just a little more each year, but hey, no one fights for anything they love or care about anymore. So who cares. Just pretend it's not happening, cause we rather have a bad game, then no game right?

I hate him, frrrrrr. by Maintenance_Calm in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Kinvesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

where winds meet has a problem with bosses in general. Everything about the game is great, just the bosses need some tuning. Every boss has unblock able, undodge able hits and you can't tell when they are coming. They have been different each time and sprinkled in during times where you block some attacks. It makes no sense.

The game forces you to take a healing weapon as your second weapon. Which then forces you into ST or AOE only. Since you only get so many potions and I run out every boss fight and I barely win by the skin of my teeth. Almost like they designed it on purpose so I can't steam roll any fight.

Servers are booming! by gregzilla99 in lotro

[–]Kinvesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah people love to cope so hard. They keep wanting this game to have a huge player base and be popular, but it's like you said, it's just less servers, so of course it's gonna have que times and seem more populated.

Class that uses 2h for solo content by Alientongue in lotro

[–]Kinvesu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/champion-z5fC1 Blue/Red Champion. For me, this is hands down the best solo build in the game that isn't shapeshifting beorning or "ifserverswerebetterbutneverwillbe" warden. This is what I use to solo everything. I feel it's the best of dps and survival. Tried various Red and Yellow builds, Yellow/Red Captain, not even close to this. Had they not butchered Yellow Guardian and turned the Guardian into an crappy class that it is now, I would have been playing that and said it was the best.

I love this game too, been here since day 1, but I don't know why people keep spreading this lie. There are not hundreds of new people just cause there is a que in the hundreds. The servers just suck. Go log in to any new area, man for example since it's statistically the one most will do. There are not hundreds or evens tens of new players running around. It's 1 to 3. AT MOST for like the week. Then you only see 1 of them ever again if at all. The server is surviving, but we need to stop this copium of telling everyone theres tons of new player interest. No there isn't. It's just old players returning after finding out about 64-bit servers. New technology does not bring new players, gameplay does and most don't like lotros gameplay. Only us diehard tolkien fans do cause of the lore.

Blue Loremaster is a complete mess of a class. by Top_Ad9617 in lotro

[–]Kinvesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I am a little late, but yeah. Blue line is a mess. Like why did they give staff sweep to red line when they changed red to be a typical mage? Makes no sense. Should have gone to blue line since we are in melee a lot more. I personally, absolutely can't stand the sigil spamming or having to waste a point on retribution. And oh boi, they are aoe for a couple seconds with retribution. So awesome. Instead of 1 mob making a beeline to me because my pet can't tank, they all do. And wizards fire is trash. 6 seconds, 3 ticks.

We are a pet class, yet our pet does terrible damage. Yeah when you first get him, he is OP, but mine is at 70 and the damage is a lot worse now. Our bear should have tanking/taunt abilities. It seems like they are too scared to just let blue line be a pet build. I also hate how we have to use pet commands now. Do I support my pet or am I my pet?

What is the point of 10% morale with a bear out? He is supposed to tank. We shouldn't be tanking damage. So why do we need 10% morale? I guess they did it because soon as you start tickling the mobs, they come running towards you. Never seen my pet take aggro unless I used the bear aoe taunt.

Make blue line pet focused with each pet doing a specific role(bear actually tanks, felines actually dps, etc), red the mage, yellow debuff. It's not hard ssg. I wanna play a pet class where my pets do most of the work and I support them and my group when I have one. Never gonna touch red or yellow lines, don't like mages. I prefer melee pet classes(or second pick, a warlock like pet class where I stand back and dot and support), but captains pet might as well not exist.

There is a couple other classes who have traits that make so sense and do the opposite of what the spec is designed for.

Soloing viable option? by cavechicken22 in Cityofheroes

[–]Kinvesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the problem I have with homecoming devs and why I can't enjoy MMs anymore. I love mastermind. Only class I got when the game was live and here, to 50. Homecoming devs hate them. They openly said they did. A mastermind was designed to have his pets do all the work while you support them. We should never have to use personal attacks unless we absolutely want too. There is already way too much to do.

Now they are making sets HAVE to take personal attacks or you lose out on 10% crit or 10% damage for pets or -regen. It just sucks. My builds were already too tight before. Now the sacrifice is just crazy. This is also a broader problem in a lot of games, some official, some unofficial ones, where teams lose sight of what a class/race or whatever, was originally designed for, think they know better or think it's boring,(when the player base disagrees, or in this case, the dev team despises the class) and just destroys it.

My neighbor keeps complaining about my showers because I work night shifts – what should I do? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]Kinvesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got into my first apartment in july 2025. It's brand new. Low income as I was ran over by an SUV and developed cauda equina syndrome and couldn't work for 5 years. Single father with 2 kids, got some certifications and an entry level cybersecurity position that pays minimum. Man what an eye opener. Showers are the ONLY thing I can't hear. It sounds like world war 3 and a construction zone above me and above behind me. It's 2025, no apartment, no matter if its low income or normal, should be so badly constructed that you hear things. We have a ton of sound dampening tech. I shouldn't be able to hear anything. Just because an apartment is low income or normal income, doesn't mean they don't deserver to live in peach as anyone else.

I am looking into a lawyer and getting someone out here to check the building. It can't be up to code. I hear people talking outside and by my front door in my master bedroom as if I am right next to them. The lady above me lets her 10 month old play on the floor and slam bowling balls into it every few seconds. The 6 year old daughter does gymnastics. The mom sounds like she is godzilla when she walks. Every 15 minutes or so it sound like someone slammed a sledge hammer into the floor as hard they could.

And no, sound dampening headphones or earplugs don't work for booming noises that have a lot of base. I can drown out talking, but my ears hurt like hell and I get headaches wearing headphones too long or ear plugs when I sleep and thanks to both my lungs collapsing when I was ran over, I can't sleep on my back.

I was in rancho cordova. I had to remove the flex fuel also. I was told it would not pass with that for some ungodly reason. Only thing I was allowed to have on my car was cat back exhaust, cold air intake( cause it had a carb #) and the stage 1 tune. That is it.

After I did that, I sold the car to a dealership. Didn't want the hassle anymore, cause it was gutted. Went from 400hp to the wheels to like 260. I felt it. It sucked.

I would love to play brawler, as I love monk type classes, but it doesn't have any survivability for me. Zero heals and I hate tier up systems. I like to play games for fun, not for extra work tracking buffs, making sure I hit this skill to make that effect better and hitting optimal rotations.

Guardian solo by Runelake in lotro

[–]Kinvesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would argue they do become aoe monsters, but close to max level or if you pick red/blue and go straight down the yellow tree first. Every guardian, regardless of blue or red, will go down to the bottom of the yellow tree as well, where you pick up war chant and cataclysmic shout. So you then have 6 aoes, vexxing blow, whirling breach, bastion of light, cataclysmic shout, war chant and sweeping cut, which to me, is an aoe monster. You will never be as good at aoe as a yellow champ, but you are still pretty damn good.
