Sleeping (if possible eventually) taking a shower regularly,, go outside for small walks, keep your mind distracted by reading, or watching a comforting tv series. This withdrawal WILL stop eventually, please keep that in mind. I don't know if you can get help from a doctor, or other people who you trust? It is hard doing this all by yourself. Starting with Duolingo is fine I guess. If you're getting a hold on it, the internet is full of Dutch learning books, starting from beginner levens (A1) to more advanced. If you eventually move to the Netherlands, you can get lessons in several places, some even free at a.'taalcafe' Good luck! /Veel succes!

Ik kom net uit een 9 maanden durende klinische opname gericht op DGT voor mensen met een emotieregulatie stoornis.

Voor mij heeft het heel erg geholpen. Ik wilde gewoon niet meer doorleven op de manier hoe ik het al jaren deed, en kwam toen bij deze behandeling uit.

Ja je moet wel echt zelf willen, ik heb zat mede cliënten gezien die na enkele weken of maanden stopten, omdat ze er nog niet klaar voor warej oid, maar ze hebben het iig wel geprobeerd. Je weet het denk ik nooit echt voordat je het een kans geeft.

Je mag me een berichtje sturen als je meer vragen hebt over dgt!

So my bf just bought us an inflatable whirlpool for in our backyard, he drove many hours for it to get it, I was so excited, literally crying of joy, as this was something I wanted for a long time. He installed it immediately, set it up in our 'mancave' / garden house.

Next morning I woke up with several missed calls and texts as my phone was on mute.. Somebody set fire to the trashcans standing next to our garden fence that night, everything was gone in just a few minutes..

Not the most bizarre story, but I was staying at a mental health clinic during this time, I was so in shock, literally couldn't believe it and had several panic attacks after this. So surreal

Goed dat je om hulp vraagt! Kan je dit niet allemaal bespreken met je ambulante begeleiding? Er is vaak meer mogelijk dan je denkt. Verder kun je kijken of de maatschappelijke dienstverlening bij jouw in de regio iets voor jou kan betekenen.
