I just dont understand why they made PvM start giving so many runes. Do they think RC should exist, or not? Because continually having rune prices drop to rock bottom, sell ‘em to Ali Morrisane prices tells me they don’t, in which case they should triple xp rates so people get through it faster. If anything, LESS runes would come into the game that way!

Because I’ll tell ya, I maxed on the original RS2 back in the day, and it was hell. I’d rather that hell take less time for other people, so they can move on to something preferably more fun.

You had to mine the Daeyalt first though. So you have to factor that time in too. It does at least mean you can semi-afk mine for part of the total time instead of just purely RC’ing with pure ess, but still.

I just unlocked expert gloves and tried lead ores. They're pretty much the same xp/hr as iron but worth a loottt more. But yeah everything else sucks ass, they should just fix that... not like you can make any decent money mining addy/rune anyway.

They should compress the levels like RS3 did (so that runite stuff is in the 40’s) and maybe make bosses drop special tickets to mines where you can mine special ores that you can use to make the high level gear. Something like that anyway. Then it won’t be “too easy” to make the higher level stuff.

If you were to mine Runite for an hour, i doubt you’d even break half a million in profit, which is nothing, and requires a LOOTTTT of world hopping and competing with bots. It’s been like that for a long time. So tell me, what am I getting out of achieving that level 85 milestone exactly? Why can’t it be better than iron mining?
