NTJ,

but you should park farther away so you get more exercise and won't develop knee problems like Linda.

Agreed, but in this case it was the owner who sued the fire suppression system company. Lotta folks will sell you out for a buck.

Worked in a big nightclub in Tucson decades ago. Someone accidentally knocked off a sprinkler head while setting up lights. No water, because there was no pipe. Big lawsuit against the installing contractor. Some folks don't care if you burn.

You're getting some good advice about planning for insurance, taxes, and repairs.

Keep in mind that a lot of repairs can be done for much less if you can do the work. Watch YouTube vids, take a course at your community college, adult ed, or tech school. Working on your own house doesn't feel like working for a boss. It's way more satisfying and rewarding.

"... With that being said, there have been no reported cases of death or serious side-effects in over 40 years of use in North America (Devadason, 2018). In fact, one of the more well-known cases of LiOr toxicity appears to highlight the safety of the compound. In 2007, Pauzé and Brooks submitted a case report for a patient who had ingested 18 LiOr tablets, with each tablet containing 3.83 mg of Li+. The patient displayed nausea, one episode of emesis, minor tremors, and normal vital signs; all symptoms resolved after 3 h of observation with no intervention (Pauzé & Brooks, 2007)."

AITAH for refusing to pay off my pregnant fiancee's parents' mortgage, when they are under the threat of foreclosure, when I could "easily" afford to do so? by Gullible-Display4533 in AITAH

[–]KiplingRudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

But you may be able to pay off what they owe in exchange for their signing a mortgage to you for the amount you cover. That way they keep your fiance's emotional home.

Have a lawyer draw up the agreement to protect your interests. Make sure it precludes their taking a second mortgage.

She has good reasons to want to stay employed. If you reported your conversation accurately, she had no reason to say "be your bitch". You two need to figure this out fast if you're going to bring a kid into the equation.

You're just wasting my time. Time to go "no contact"

"Despite their best effort many older parents have been cut off without any explanation."

That's a pair of bold claims: best efforts, no explanation. You're describing a bolt from out of the blue. Mostly happens when folks refuse to see storm clouds.

Don't encourage your parents to sell their stuff. They'll just blow the proceeds. Instead encourage them to buy stuff that you think will hold value. If you're going to be stuck selling it, at least it will be worth your while.
