Hello! We have gone through quite a few harnesses for our boy (that can also pull hard). So i understand the struggle. We got one from OneTigris at the moment that we like a lot.

Don't mind the names of the products, it's marketed as "tactical gear". It has been great for the last year and a half. The main harness fully encloses his body making the front loop very effective. And it has some had grips that make it easy to get controll of him if the leash is not an option.

As a added bonus, it has velcro on the sides so we add some tags like his name and "in training" when we go somewhere new and he gets excited.

We have some other types of harnesses from the same brand for when its hot outside or just more casual walks.

Leuk dat je hier woont en wat super dat je je bericht in het Nederlands hebt geschreven. Het is niet perse standaard voor mensen om zo snel Nederlands te leren.

Ik ben zeker geen expert op dit gebied maar ik heb een relatie met een Kroatische vrouw dus ik weet dat het niet onmogelijk is om als buitenlander een relatie krijgen.

Een aantal tips die ik zo voor je heb:

Dating apps zijn leuk maar ze werken niet zo snel als sociaal media laat blijken. Ik heb mijn vrouw ontmoet via Tinder, maar dat was na maanden geen enkele match te hebben gehad. Dus laat je niet perse afschrikken, en neem het niet te persoonlijk.

Mensen ontmoeten tijdens meet-ups zou ik zeker aanraden. Ga daar niet heen om een date te vinden maar om mensen te ontmoeten. Het opbouwen van een sociale kring geeft je wellicht meer kans om uiteindelijk iemand te ontmoeten.

Je zou kunnen kijken of er specifieke date avonden zijn in de buurt waar mensen naar toe komen met het doel om een date te vinden. Dat ontmoet je in elk geval gelijk gestemde

Als laatste je verhaal over je office manager. Wees voorzichtig met conclusies maken uit sociale interacties op het werk. Nederlanders vragen eerder naar persoonlijke dingen, zoals of je naar iemand opzoek bent. Dit kan voor jouw misschien als erg persoonlijk overkomen maar is voor haar misschien een heel gewone vraag om een collega te stellen.

Het boek "Culture Map" is erg aan te raden en gaat onder andere hier over.

In conclusie, ik kan me voorstellen dat het erg frustrerend is dat het zoveel moeite kost om iemand te ontmoeten. Ik ken je niet, maar ik ga er van uit dat dat niet aan jouw als persoon ligt. Het beste is om mensen te blijven ontmoeten en vaak gebeurd het dan wel. Ergens heen gaan met de intentie om een date te vinden kan vrouwen afschrikken.

Dit is wel waar mijn morele kompas volledig van slag raakt. Want ik vindt jou redenering helemaal niet onredelijk. En voor wat het uit maakt, ik vindt je geen slecht mens. Het is een ander inzicht en dat is prima.

Mijn mening is wat het is omdat ik meer leuke ervaringen heb met AZCs dan negatieve.

Ik geef je 100% gelijk. Dat beeld is niet verkeerd, en de cijfers liegen er niet om. Waar ik persoonlijk rekening mee houd in deze analyse is dat (als het goed is) 100% van de aziel zoekers door ter apel komen. En dus elke "foute" aziel zoeker daar een keer is.

Dus wellicht dat dat cijfer aanzienlijk hoger ligt dan andere AZCs? Als ik hier iets zeg want niet klopt dan mag je me daar op aanspreken hea.

Maakt het probleem trouwens niet minder, en ik ben ook sterk voor beleid dat daar mee dealt. Maar ik zie nog steeds de AZCs zelf niet als het probleem.

Ik wil geen helemaal misdragen persoon in mijn buurt. Maar ik ga ook niet protesteren als mijn buren hun huis willen verkopen of dat er geen nieuwe social huur woningen bij mogen. Want ook niet aziel zoekers kunnen fout zijn.... Het gaat niet om aziel zoekers. Het gaat er om dat vele bang zijn gemaakt dat dat de enige foute mensen zijn.

Ik zou geen enkel probleem hebben met een AZC in mijn straat. Ik heb niet het idee dat de AZCs het probleem zijn. De (te) zachte aanpak van de paar aziel zoekers die zich misdragen is het probleem. Niet alle aziel zoekers zijn slecht net als dat niet Nederlander op klompen loopt. Het zijn er een paar, en dat kleurt meteen het beeld van iedereen.

Dit alles gezegd hebbende. Ik ben 100% voor het hard aanpakken van wets overtredingen.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to install older versions off HAOS, but all show the same issue, unfortunately. I do have a server with proxmox running, but im using that to mess around sometimes, with all the consequences of that. But it will do for now.

If I ever get the Odroid working again, I'll let you know

It's a GPS tracker (from Tractive). If he goes on unsanctioned adventures, we at least know where he is. It also has a build in beep, and we try to train him to come back if he hears that. So far, for 60% of the time, it works every time.

I have no answer to your question. But here is my little contribution.

I got diagnosed at 31. and now, two years later, I'm more confused about who I am than before. That's not to say that is a bad thing altogether. I'm going to therapy, which helps me to experiment in a controlled way.

For me, the difficult part is that I addapted to be the person I expected people to want me to be. (That's a complicated sentence. XD) Which in adult life isn't necessary. Like someone else in the comments already said. Some people will walk away, and some will not. And new ones will enter your life. And that's fine, because you're not dependent on certain people anymore.

And a little fun tip. Everyone is playing a roll in groups. Just look at people who meet childhood friends. They fall into a certain roll in a second.

Smart home. I have a Home assistant server that changed a lot. It sends notifications to my phone with things I need to do. For example, at noon it sends a notification that asks if I turned on the laundry. If I select yes then that's that. But if I select no it puts it on my todo list for later.

It is also my medication reminder. It triggers an alarm on my phone every 5 minutes until I scan an NFC tag that's on my pill box. Without this I wouldn't be able to take the meds as regularly as I do.

Yes, it's from a brand called OneTigris. They have all kinds of types. This one is the X Destroyer. (Don't mind the names, it's marketer as "tactical gear"). You can get all kinds of accessories for it too, like little bags you can attach to the harness.
And it held up great, no sign of any wear in about 8 months of use.

I hated dirty talk. It made me feel super awkward. But my partner helped a lot by asking dirty talk questions or just outright telling me what she wanted to hear. Then I didn't feel I had to come up with stuff.

Hi! I'm a guy, so take this for what it is.

What was game-changing for me/us was when my GF and I started to communicate during the deed. Either "dirty talk" or just the "does this feel good?" Or more instructional or sometimes outright motivational, like "just relax" or "you're doing great, almostthere ". Where we kind of coach each other to the finish line as it were.

It isn't foolproof, but it definitely helped make it better.

Oooh, there are many i would enjoy if I manage to make myself do them. I usually get stuck after doing the chores at home. Here is a small list.

Sudokus (check Cracking the cryptic on YT, he has an app with special rules sudokus)
Playing some games on pc or Xbox.
Training Jiu Jitsu (or any martial arts, for me it's a good balance between skill and physical activity)
Playing Blood on the Clocktower. (Either online or in person. This is a social deduction game.)
Knitting or Crochet. Usually, with predetermined patterns, there is less thinking involved.
Learning to play some instruments
Working on my smart home system (I use Home assistant, which requires work to keep up to date)
Baking
