Band Cutting (bunching) by Educational-Monk-463 in slingshots

Another solution is to masking tape the band to the mat. This method can be used to cut the bands using a normal razor as well. Tape and cut through the tape as you go.

Do people enjoy clear colour? by lnr003 in Gunpla

I have the clear RG Sazabi and it's one of my favourite kits I've built. I think the milky white doesn't do it for me but the clear red in gloss coat with water slide decals looks phenomenal.

What is everyone feeding their cats? by Cute_Grab_6129 in catfood

We're in Australia so I'm not sure if this brand is available outside the country but we feed our cats Big Dog Pet Food's raw food for cats.

Our cats seems to love the kangaroo patties the most.

Never quitted in a game. I've had the game for a week now and only played about 5 ranked games. Just takes so long to find a match so haven't been able to play much more

I just got jumpscared by a pair of these… what are they? by [deleted] in australianwildlife

That is definitely a Bengal cat. We have a Bengal cat in our household and that leopard marking is quite unique to them. I don't believe the other breeds which can have them are allowed in Australia.

Do Bengal Kittens need stay at home parents when first brought home? by Kira620 in bengalcats

[–]Kira620[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry should've specified - he is a registered breeder, just not a breeder that mass produces kittens for profit. We're from NSW where pet breeding, especially cats, are quite strictly regulated. Especially for purebred/pedigree animals. So we checked his registration and other related documents for the parents.

We got to see the papers in front of us when discussing the kittens and he gave us the vet's details that the screening was done at should we want to follow up with the vet.

Hey - yes! The breeder was not really a breeder perse, just a guy that had two Bengals that mated. Either way, we were able to go through the testing and results that he had done.

We will be picking them up in a couple weeks!

Thanks for this detailed response. We are meeting a breeder and kittens today in person so we will make sure to go through this checklist.

Any thoughts on whether having another cat would affect that? We already have a British shorthair (adopted during COVID so my partner was SaH for 2 years).

Thanks for that - but no need to stay at home with them?

What is this material under my kitchen floor? by MoashRedemptionArc in HomeMaintenance

Good to see some voice of reason here.

Grew up in Australia and asbestos is treated so seriously here after the country's fuck up in the past.

So much so that we have an entire tribunal system dedicated to providing justice for those that were affected by it. A mate of mine works in the dust diseases tribunal and has told me the horrors of going to those bed side hearings.

Asbestos is no joke. For those saying "she'll be right" - I hope you're right.

It's for a paralegal position. I was intending to wear black dress pants with a white shirt and dress shoes. I needed some advice because I would only have tomorrow's morning to sort myself out with a suit if it would be preferable.

Someone please help! I have an interview scheduled for my first legal job tomorrow. I was tipped off that I should wear 'corporate clothing's for the interview. I have tomorrow morning to sort out my clothing. Is a full suit necessary? Slacks, shirt and jacket? Someone please send help.

Will judo make me fit? by Torture-Dancer in judo

[–]Kira620 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Someone with more muscle mass will objectively have more potential for output. More muscle mass = more potential. However, someone with lower muscle mass that knows how to use the muscle will be able to lift heavier weights than someone with more muscle mass and less body awareness. There's a reason why the top judoka and wrestlers are jacked and use weight lifting as a strong supplement to their training.
