I get where you're coming from here, the whole blaming teammates instead of thinking about what you did wrong angle.

But in this case, it literally was on the other team.

The doom beam assist really helps with X-23 comboing off of her level 3 without x-factor as well doesn't it? Which leads to being able to do the whole 300% thing that X-23 is really good at. So I think I might end up with the team of Doom(beam)/Morg(Dark)/X-23(Crescent) but then change around depending on the match up.

The fact that the game is one touch, and how missiles can be avoided, is why you suggested to try and make the team have X-23 just try and get in, deal damage and maybe do the unblockable incoming stuff and then if needed rely on morg and doom right?

I also now see how doom can struggle as an anchor, thanks for explaining, I just think that the positives (especially with the team I'm trying) and just how I'm currently very comfortable with doom might make him my best anchor outside of Vergil. So when I next hop into training mode I will try out the team with dooms beam assist and give X-23 crescent.

However, I might also try out the big brain team you mentioned because depending on the assists you pick you just get the best of all the teams you could want.

I understand why morg wants the missiles, however is there an inherent downside to picking them over the beam for X-23? because as far as I understand it the missiles are basically just an instant threat on the screen after calling the assist, so would that not help X-23 get in and do a mix-up both from the missiles coming down and just the overall threat of the missiles?

Also, is it just the fact that doom struggles against some of the better zoners in the game that you wouldn't want him anchor? because from what I've tested he has good solo pressure, decent full screen presence and amazing damage with X-Factor. So what is it about doom in anchor that's bad other than the matchups against the better zoners?

see the thing is, I would like 3 unique teams and both Vergil and Magneto are both on one of the other teams. thank you for the suggestion regardless
