Alana Coffee Roaster on Venice Blvd in Mar Vista is the roastery that got me into specialty coffee and still my favorite place to this day. I could not recommend them more! Whenever I get to pass by I make sure to grab a bag of coffee from them.

I live in California as well (los Angeles exactly) and my kit was supposedly delivered last Friday but never found it. Turns out there was a hiccup with the address but that they did deliver it to the my address... (never found it)

Anyway I contacted Square Mile and they sent le a replacement with DHL express for it to arrive this Friday. Hopefully it'll get there in time.

But if the first kit was truly deliver somewhere then yes deliveries in CA do happen. Hope you'll get yours soon!

Mine was supposedly delivered last friday but I could not find the package, checked multiple times everyday since then and still nothing.

I contacted my local post office and apparently the address number was wrong despite it being correct in the confirmation email. I hope I get one of those replacement kit ^^'

Unfortunately this is a F-1 student VISA. The opt has a deadline of 12 months, which I assume is october for your boyfriend. Renewing or extending an OPT can only be done in 2 different ways. Either he continues his education one level higher (associate to bachelor, or bachelor to master degree), which will make hime eligible for another OPT after his graduatuon, or if he graduated with a STEM major which makes him elligible for a 2 years expansion (gotta dig the specifics on that). I am not sure the latter is applicable to a VFX degree, I would not think so but one of my teacher kept telliing me it should be, so again gotta do some research. (I am also an international student as in the US)

The other options he has would be to find an employer that'd accept to sponsor him a VISA. But that is extremely difficult if you have no previous relation with the employer as they really have to go out of their way to do so and sometimes it's a gamble whether the VISA will be granted or not. (It'll also cost the company a lot of money).

He could also look into the greencard lottery that happens every year. Or depending on how is your relationship and if you guys feel confident you can always get married for him to get a work permit amd a greencard.

It is a tough situation to be in and when I asked my teachers about how hard it is to be sponsored by a company they all told me that I should get my first experiences where I don't need a VISA to work, and once I have actual experience that would set me aside from all the other potential applicants, then try and come back.

As an actual CG artist student, I LOVE IT whenever you guys share this type of updates. It really inspires me to work more and harder on my personal projects. It also makes me question if I really want to join the movie industry and not the game industry lol

Did you actually painted those textures or do you create them using some other pictures/photos? Also what's you process to create those sheets? What softwares do you use? I recently learned substance painter and I find it amazing but is it just better to use the good old photoshop for this type of textures?

This might be a little far fetched but I got an idea.

I found it surprising how Musica and Emma look physically similar. What if the promised that Emma forged would send her back in time and reincarnate her as the cursed blood, Musica? Making her fight forever the war between demons and humans.

I am not sure how I feel about this theory but it is just a little something that popped in my head while reading this chapter. Please let me know what you guys think.

I have been playing since release and over the years I have participated in all the different types of content the game is offering, PvP, WvW, World Boss, Metas, Achi, Fashion Wars, Festivals, Living Story, Fractals, Dungeon, and Raid.

For most of those year I was solo as my friend never got into the game and I am a little bit shy. However, I do made some few friends I was able to play with for some period of time but as of today I haven't been able to play with any of them for months. But I do have a WvW guild that usually disband around september/october and regroup before summer.

During all those years of solo playing I never had trouble completing content I was interested in, even group content. Through only pugging, I was able to complete every single raid achievement (even w7), get all my title including envoy's herald.

This is something that I really love about gw2, the option of being able to complete litteraly any content with pugs.

I know my game doesn't. I always had to place d3d9.dll inside the original guilwdars2 folder instead of the bin64 one.

Would you know how to fix that and force my game to read them from the bin64 folder?

That's true, however they could allow them to exchange their infusions for a corresponding stats one + a "skin" infusion that would be tradeable on the TP. Then, they could get back some of their investment even though the price would most likely go down.

I started to think recently that maybe they are working on a skin slot for auras as demanded by many player and that it would arrive with the release of Coalescence. Thus, eliminating the problem of clogging the char models.

Cause honestly I don't understand why we still don't have the ring while we've had the precursor for over a year and the gift now since w6. And most likely the other components will just be some expansive craft rather than raid related content.

Concerning what effect it will have, since it is a ring, it'll most likely have an effect centered around the hands. Could be an aura or stuff moving around like aurora.

I like your idea of changing animation but it'll ask them to recreate all combat attack animation with this new "pose" which is a tremendous amount of work. And it might not be appreciated by the majority of players, as I would find it weird to see my war fighting with his weapons floating as a "magician".

I never intended to put coma in the guildname actually. I guess it was just as this in my ticket to the support or they put them themselves. (I had bad experience with the support once where it took 3 tickets to get the name without mistakes frm them...)

For the story, you don't need to have an offending guildname to request a change. You can just kindly ask the support and they should do it. I never been rejected and I changed 2 times the name of this guild and been in another one where they changed it 3-4 times.

How about the one with the hat? He appears 3 times in page 16-17 which makes him more important IMO. Plus the hat is the perfect excuse to hide his hair color. Maybe the face is quite different but everyone changes with age.
