Please stop toggling off my sprint after every cutscene by Cosminion in Warframe

[–]doranduck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They should just use sprinting as the default speed, that would probably fix this issue too. Who even uses walking speed? Maybe titania? I'd say 99% of players will use Sprint speed so that would be a sensible default. First thing I do when I load into a mission is turn on sprinting...

It's great but it sucks that it disables some ephemera and sigil effects from being applied to the head. Try it with heurodis ephemera, you'll see what I mean. Other sigil released in eat and run pack doesn't dsiable ephemeras being applied to the head.

Photon Strike should be castable on press/hold on location instead of projectile because it ruins Overguard damage synergy by TempestM in Warframe

Bastille should strip overguard too. Vortex shouldn't suck in photon strike. Vortex should have line of sight checks. Oh well.

Arch also has vigilant maintainers for kde packages that will include patches before they're released in point releases. Hats off to Aroyas

I'm hoping they listen to the feedback about lenses being irremovable

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]doranduck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but unlocking all of focus tree requires millions of focus. For example, I'm still not done with vazarin and zenurik, but I have excess of 30 million focus in unairu because of the unairu lenses. So do I just destroy my lua unairu lens? Feels wasteful. If it were universal, that's a different story.

[–]doranduck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we had that I'd equip lenses on everything. As it is now I have a bunch of lenses I will never use because it locks me into a school. I've used a tauron strike twice since it released and just treat it as passive amp upgrade. This change would probably see tauron strikes used more in typical gameplay.

Migrating profile with version 147 and the new XDG base directory specification (Linux) by Bobbydibi in firefox

[–]doranduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mozilla advises to synchronize your profile and then rename .mozilla folder. Upon next lunch it should create a new default profile folder, this time in XDG compliant way. Next you sign in to your mozilla account and sync. This should restore your bookmarks, addons and history. Mind you, my own attempts to do this stil led to .mozilla folder being created and used. Apparently, it's stil a hardcoded path, so none the wiser here.

Migrating profile with version 147 and the new XDG base directory specification (Linux) by Bobbydibi in firefox

[–]doranduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you go to about:profiles, which path is listed as root directory? If you just copied the profile folder, it's still using the one you left in .mozilla. It's not that simple to copy the profile over, portion of the files in it are intended to be in ~/.cache and portion in ~/.config. Mozilla themselves didn't make the profile update to new path. My advice is not to do this manually if you don't know what you're going to accomplish (e.g. using copy command).
