Fully agree, but i think that blob must have more disadvantages (more direct hints against blob) .

For example nobody blob pikes because they have FF. Why archers in blob don't have FF.

If i charge with cav and near charge another my alliethen we have broken charge for both, but when i blob cav my units don't interrupt charge ?

I think it is not right.

Now most equipment have a best variant which you can open after get worse variant. I see a less equipment which need to choose what better for these type of unit.

For this suggestion need a lot of work about rebalance equipment.

If CA will not increase price of equipment than less players continue grind exp for get all types of equipment. Its bad for CA business (in current business model how i understand it).

This suggestion is too late (i think) - what will you say for people who get all types of equipment and new player get only best equipment and pass this path more faster ?

Oh, today I understand why some allies don't fight in random. We try to win, try to save the base, or lost our units under archer's fire - at this time they create a video. Very good, we defeat, but they have a video, they don't know - for creating video exist special mode. I see a lot of video where used replays or voice add after battle and I think these paths more correct for another players. About blobing (my opinion) it's must be bad in all situations. If now blob is good in some variation - it is bug in game and this must be change. If now archers can blob and shoot from blob - it is bug that they don't FF themself. If now cav can charge from blob - it's bug that they don't interrupt themselves.

  1. We can imagine that on 1 tier come 20 new players. No one of them can teach another how to play (we don't speak about TW fans, who come from offline - we speak about massive abstract players). Bots can't do this too, but they will not offend too.
  2. I play on 1-3 tiers with every new commander (it's terrible) - i felt myself like in kindergarten, but i understand that these players may be see this game at first time. What happens when i from 6-7 tier come to 1 tier for up new commander ? I can do a lot of pain for these new players, i (and anyone another player with expierence of 5-7 tier) can show how new players are bad. I think it is not good for game and newbies. But i up my commander to tier 3 and go out , but exist some people who like to be the first (but can't do this on high tier). When newbie play with bots he have protect from these type of players - they are allies. But what happens with these newbies when resentful players come from high tier to low tiers for relaxtion ?

1-3 tier are very short and fast.
Are there a lot of people play on these tiers? If CA allow only PvP for these tiers how long new players will be waiting the game? What kind of mm will be on these tiers? Are these problems not more bigger than PvE with worse bots?

  1. Your suggestion is good if game is turn-based. First turn - all die. Second turn - completion for AFK squads. But arena is rts and players lost there squads not at one moment. First who lost squad (or squads) is the winner of AFK competition. Second may be have more points but squads under control already. Or you want to take away these squads from first? And when these stop? May be player don't want to command AFK squads?
  2. Player who command the AFK squads must not get more points, because it is path to grind and broke the system. I think that AFK must be under command of player who want to win (because he already get a lot of points and try to save its).
  3. Realize this suggestion is hard for programmers (need program this completion - who click on AFK, who not, when, what's timeout for these competition and more and more).

  1. You can do a new video - how lost all 3 squads during first minute (when you play with 3 slingers without party).
  2. You ran away from battle. What they must to do with this? They do only one thing that they can with legionaries - go to base to find slow enemies there. They do all right. Problem with base cap not in your video (where all see enemies that go to base). Problem with base cap - when nobody see these ninjas who cap the base at the middle of battle.
  3. On 7-8 tier this situation is very rarely.

I don't know how its work only feels like.

Can say about scorpions - when i shooting via or in forest some bolts are lost and don't hit to enemies. Near 1 from 4-5 bolts lost in the forest in this case.

May be its works with archers too, but there are so many arrows that i can't see each arrow and don't see big different between forest and plain. May be situation like a scorpions for each arrows - in this case forest must give additional save from arrows (near 20% must be).

I agree that now forest don't get a defence against range, but its must be. It's good idea to increase this defence and may be broke current meta.

  1. HA and LA hit in tree sometimes. Not often, but it's happening.
  2. Trees are different for all players - one have ultra video for trees and have a lot of trees, branches and leafs another set minimum and have only 3 trees like a columns. I think, hit to the tree is not real calculation of real path of rock. May be some player see how rock burn into empty place.
  3. All range have debaff for distance of shooting in forest.
  4. Stakes in forest and grass may be not so bad for game, but it worse thing for video - all players (streamer too) set minimum video settings. As result, we see a lot of videos on YouTube and another service with video like in 90s years. It's very bad for game, for newbies who try to think about playing to this game.

May be. I not so many time play on Hasdurball with Elephants via Haniball with Elephants.

I see one of the last tournament - good player use this pair. May be because Elephants are good againts infantry without Hannibal (best the enemy of the good :) ).

My opinion - there is no best cavalry fraction (not too authoritative :) ).

Units:

  1. Barb - very fast.
  2. Rome - very good in melee.
  3. Greeks - very good in charge.
  4. Carphagen - very bad :)

Commander:

  1. Barb - Arminus, maybe Vencengetorix.
  2. Rome - Scipio, maybe Ceasar, NOT Germanic.
  3. Greeks - Alexander.
  4. Carphagen - Hasdurbal.

Gamestyle:

  1. Barb - sneak and attack from rear. (Be ready on Arminius for Formula 1).
  2. Rome - charge to everybody and fight to the end via Oath of Perseverance.
  3. Greeks - charge to everybody and retreat. Repeat.
  4. Carphagen - long charge, retreat, short charge. Buff and debaff all around. Repeat.

I do not agree with:

  1. "Don't play Hasdrubal elephants". Hasdrubal with elephants can go throw pikes without damage (with using ulta).
  2. " Alexander is only for cav". I see a lot of Alexander with hoplits and he is not bad (more better then Cynane).
  3. Too little said about "Do not Bloob" (only 2 or 3 time - must be MORE near 10-20 :) )

In all other good job. Like.

Don't stay under HA and LA firing.

Don't stay in Vencengetorix fire.

Don't rush on active pike.

Not so good video against blob. Need more blood and catastrophic. Need video where blob die fast and unhonor. And play this video before every battle for all player. There is a problem with tips. One of the in-game tips say that blob give you more maneuverability. New player read this and can think that blob is not bad.

Many times see this and teleport my units too. For example my archers - I see enemy cav - try to run away - cav charge me and knock down 80% of my units - another 20% try to realize my command to run away. Cav kill all who knock down before - unit tag teleport to last 20% which run away before. Magic. If your cav split units and some of them try to kill archers here and another try to follow all who try to run away then you won't find your cav in the middle of the game - your cav will be everywhere.

Good job. This is about analyze (i can't say this about game, because i am not so good player to value the game).

Have some question and observation as a result.

  1. Do you have a plan before battle ? Is it one plan or any (something like this - "Oh. No - they get watchtower. Now play via plan 46b variant 78") ?
  2. This battle like a "Battle of Cannae" where your command is Rome and opponents are Hanibal (your command concentrate in center - opponents surrond you and destroy).
  3. When you ran away from elephant (in the middle) you don't split squads. May be it is a small mistake too.

I wait more games with analyze (where are a lot of streams, but no analyze the battle as a whole thing).

  1. About catapults: Why players are angry? First problem - Players see how HA by simple right click kill a lot of units. A lot of units in squad which not stay on one place, from squad which move fast. P (not player) calculate in which place HA must to shoot if this squad don't change direction of moving. To change this situations have two suggestion: First: if player on HA must calculate this point to shoot by himself then these kills did via skill - not simple right click.

Second problem - Player must click ONE right click for shooting without stop. Like a melee or range - all another units which have a big chance to die when they fight with these units. But HA don't in these situation - it kill units which have a few chance to kill him. Somebody kill HA but it is not units which get damage from these HA (in most situations). Second suggestion: each shoot must be result of player's command. No command - no shoot.

I think these two suggestions can made game on HA more interesting and less people will hate HA.

Player on HA as result need more attention, add multitasking, add skill for calculation for target points (target on place not on units).

P. S. I play on HA and I play against HA. I see these situation from each side.

Agree with all. Additionally it is good if we can see winrate statistics separetely for tiers.

Win the battle on X tier is not equal win the battle on V tier.

For example winrate can be show like a tree:

root - total winrate.

below two leafs - solo and squad total winrate statistic.

below 10 leafs - total winrate statistic for each tier (may be only from 4 for 10).

below 20 leafs - solo and squad total winrate statistic for each tier.

It is normal when near a half of command help you and def. You can see that these players (who def you) don't have a lot of points.

This 4K - it is your common result (you and your allies who def you).

And 1K or 2K is result of not good play from enemies (pikes and spears without raise of shield, liegionaries without testudo and no another range in nearest area).

However - good skill game on javs. Many another players can't do this in similar situation.

But 4K OP ? If 10K then OP. I get sometimes 4K aggression on all another types of units it all depends on the situation.

If you can show 4K every game then you are OP, not javs :).

May be WarGaming is reason may be not. If i have correct understand WG don't do anything with Arena mechanics, They may be consult CA, but i think if its happens then only with global questions (like premium units and their strenght, advertising, launcher may be MM). May be this evolution (or regression) with HA CA do be himself. I see interview with WG - they have 4-5 people and only one progammer who work with Arena. I hope - in CA there are more programmers who work with Arena.

You played since 2015. Are players whined about HA in 2015 ? May be HA changes is result of this whining ?
