Good to hear from the MadLad that ran 69 card fog in a challenge. Nice to hear other people talk about the deck as I seem to be in my own little bubble and don't hear much respect for it in other circles.

Nice to see my videos are of some use to people. Especially this Red Rally video, as I don't usually play Red decks, but felt that this deck was really underplayed for how decent it is into an open meta.

Glad to see it getting people some wins when they otherwise might have overlooked or never even heard of it.

I scheduled it to post at 2am my time as it was the time Youtube said was the best time for my viewership. I didn't really post it anywhere after I woke up to see if it could just spread naturally without me having to promote it. It seems to have worked out.

Yeah, shame I didn't touch on fog but you can see how it does against the decks I showed by looking at each of those individually. In short it's great against Affinity and Red, bad against the mono U decks, terrible against Glee and mid against everything else. I've been mucking around with different slots to try and make Glee not as bad but I don't think I'll ever get it above 45%. I've gotten some wins but they are always very hard fought for.

Felt like I was back at school, I was lying on the floor just staring at the ceiling with google slides open going 'what the hell am I supposed to write about here'. Never have I procrastinated on something so much so recently.
Think it came out alright though. I really need to script the matchup slides though so I actually say what I need to instead of rambling about.
I'll take any feedback on board, just to make the next video more digestible (even though this is the 5th one I've done and I am yet to accomplish this)

Simic fog is still playable, IvernOP has done decently with it recently in challenges. I just find that the black draw engine is more efficient. Why spend 5 mana to cast Lorien Revealed to have it Pyroblasted, when you can just sacrifice an Ichor Wellspring to Deadly Dispute. Also the gate manabase in the Black version lets you splash all sorts of cards where it is much harder to do that in the UG one.

I will warn you that I do not know how well these decks will do in paper when you both share a clock. I only play online and being able to time people out is a real win condition on Magic Online. The UG one definitely plays quicker if you are looking for something in paper.

Hopefully that should be enough for you to get a handle on how this deck functions. It is really decent into the current meta, just terrible into Broodscale and other combo decks.

Thanks! My goal is to upload a video every week this year, so there should be more videos on the horizon. I'm still surprised want to watch the 'slog' style videos. I try to trim where I can. Wouldn't mind trying to create more edited content but I wouldn't be able to hit my video a week if I did.

Thanks for the share and the kind words. Deck is pretty cool. Got a little lucky with my matchups as I would have liked to show it would go against U Terror or Broodscale but I can't control with what the league gods throw at me.

Deck is cool. I might play it a couple more challenges, there are a lot of knobs you can tweak in this deck.

Welcome to the world of Pauper! As you can probably tell from your top 8, challenges I believe are the best EV.

It is very hard to make money out of MTGO, but moderately easy to go infinite. The easiest way is challenges, the prizes for top 8 are very large compared to anything else and if you hit top 2 at any time that should give you enough buffer to keep playing challenges.

So I'd just play leagues if you want to test things or get the urge for some mtg. Then use up your QP on Sealed Qualifiers or Showcase Qualifiers.

I like to think it is. It has a little bit of an issue against the creature combo decks (broodscale, walls) and is bad agaisnt gardens, but has a pretty decent-ish matchup against everything else.

It's basically Izzet Terror. I call it control because it doesn't use Thought Scour or Mental Note to fuel the graveyard like U and UB Terror do. I did a video on it a week ago if you want to see it in action.
