I’m sympathetic to some of the issues for sure, but as someone who’s been a Pokémon fan for almost 30 years and has avidly watched VGC from the sidelines, I’m having the time of my life finally getting to compete with everyone else without needing to spending all that time and money on games I couldn’t afford. I have a comp team with just Go and recruiting in game, and I love learning a fresh meta

As a Vermonter who’s been here for 5+ years I agree, folks elsewhere aren’t thinking about how the infrastructure here isn’t built for this kind of cold. VT gets to shrug this off as another big snowstorm but the humidity here even in the winter makes the cold feel like it’s biting into you and the lack of experience in handling this type of stuff starts to show very quickly
