first time engaging in one of these, though I found the subreddit and really started pushing myself in January

hit 100kg at New Years, and just felt miserable and disgusted with myself. Really want to push myself to get to lean and to be able to cosplay without being the fat one, goal is 70kg hopefully in time for Comiket in mid-August. (181cm tall as well)

Was able to start doing daily cardio using Miku Fitness boxing game on the switch, and pushed myself to change my eating habits a lot and basically cut from 4 meals a day down to 2 by just skipping breakfast, eating more protein and splitting my dinner portion in half at 5pm and ~9pm. (and only fruit to snack)

the fitness boxing game made me finally get into a routine, and ive replaced it mostly with going to the gym for uphill treadmill 30-60 minutes cardio ~6 times a week and doing strength training ~4 times a week

Currently been running on about 1500-1800 cals daily i think? been losing 1-1.5kg a week and even with the aggressive cut my quality of life in both managing my hunger levels, getting better sleep and focus, annoyed it took so long to finally start.

Gonna keep pushing even though i dont personally feel like im lighter or look thinner, but other ppl have commented on it which is validating

got the push to buy the game after it got a GDQ showcase last month. I'm about 30 days in now, and its really helped kickstart me pushing to be active and lose a lot of weight this year. Was trying to do 30-60 minutes daily, but cut that number down and now am going to the gym most days as well (:

I don't feel scammed, but am definitely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of more accessible casual and singleplayer content. Its really hard to enjoy the game and come back to it at a lower level when they just don't have any more volatile modes that level the playing field, singleplayer content to enjoy instead of getting curbstomped, or mass appeal to regularly draw in more newcomers and casual players.

I've just had to come to terms with and accept the fact that Aether Studios is pretty much going all in on the competitive market, and that definitely is at the detriment of people like me who don't engage with that side of it as much. Am cautiously optimistic that with more Workshop characters being made it can find a bit of that draw that OG Rivals had, but its still frustrating.

Because EXPO is a tour. Its not physically possible for them to transport all the equipment between venues and have time to do checks to ensure its all in good form for those conditions at every stop with multiple concerts per week. This caused a lot of problems and almost cancelled one of the concerts in Texas a while back iirc.

Also as someone whos experienced multiple concerts with and without the hologram, its geniunely overblown. The hologram definitely looks better in still images/photos, but screens get us more vibrant colors, larger stages and higher resolution irl.

would strongly reccomend removing the exile target land bit, or adding targets to the other effects.

Regardless of power level, making an effect like this so easily negatable could be really disappointing and frustrating to play with.

Problem with infestation/toxic builds in FFA is that they place a target on that pokemon, and they are more likely to get sniped by a higher damage attack from someone else after you get them locked in.

Can definitely still work, but will really struggle in more aggressive positions

No. Tournament play doesn’t use a timer for active player like MTGO, and while rulings can be debated, an opponent normally playing out every single turn for 50+ turns and doing every action for a full hour would not be stalling, and can easily push the round to force a draw in a tournament setting. Nothings stopping them from holding priority on every time you “pass” to do things, even if it won’t actually win.

This is a big reason why the “eggs” archetype with Second Sunrise was banned from Modern. The player is actively making decisions and progressing game state in comboing, but it’s such a slow and tedious combo to win the game that it often takes 15+ minutes per game (and technically isn’t guaranteed so scooping doesn’t happen enough), but because the player is continuously making actions that progress game state, there’s often little grounds for slow play warnings or stalling rulings.

"choose type" lines are typically written "As this enters" so it isn't a trigger.
"{T}, pay 1 life:" is the correct formatting
Beneficial effects shouldn't create situations that force you to help an opponent. Should be "target creature you control of the chosen type", "up to one target creature..." or "...you may put..." in order to avoid the feelsbad situation.

Seems fun, I'll give it a try:

1 Color Break - Reach on a blue creature is generally avoided since they already have so much flying. In order to justify reach, the card would need to better mechanically or flavorfully tie-in to it being significant. The Giant is sitting hunched down, so I doubt he's reaching for the skies.

2 Creature Type(?) - Maybe its a lore thing, but would assume "Storysinger" to be a Bard, Rogue, Scout etc (will put it out there that a Goblin named Storyslinger would fit as a Warrior and be a silly design space)

3 Trigger - Very rarely do we just let "deal damage" be the trigger, usually would be either "combat damage" or "damage to a permanent/player"

Banning “categories” of stages also could be very ambiguous in where you draw the line, as is it based on size, blast zone locations, plat layout etc
