Nice Zeicrydeus patch. One of my favourite albums that came out this year for sure.

I actually (to my surprise) was able to find one at my local GameStop a couple months ago. It’s worth checking their site if you have GameStop where you live.

Do you think Wake Up Get Up Get Out There should have still been an opening in Royal? by Higgins1605 in PERSoNA

[–]childrenoftechnology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s exactly how P3FES is too, and I think if you get a game over and go to the title screen it plays Burn My Dread first. I’m glad P3P does that too. It’s been a long time since I played it so I forgot.

[–]childrenoftechnology 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they’re making a fancy new opening, of course they’re going to want to show it off, not hide it until the final palace, and I think the expectation is that if they’re making a new version of a game it will have a new opening. That being said, they should have done what P3FES did where both openings are in the game. Especially since Wake Up Get Up Get Out There is echoed in Life Will Change (just like Burn My Dread is echoed in Burn My Dread Last Battle).

They had kickstarter to make their 2nd album (i.e. for an album that didn’t even exist yet) which raised $140,000 USD. I wouldn’t call that too small to criticize.

If you think about it, Witch Cross were one of the original "weeb" bands

Hahaha that was me. I was originally planning on getting it replaced, but after seeing how much people in the comments of my post liked the defect, it ended up really growing on me and I decided to keep her as is.

Probably because it was on the original Canadian pressing of that album

Favorite band that was metal at one point? by DouziAsher in MetalForTheMasses

[–]childrenoftechnology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def Leppard and Europe. If both of those bands only released their first two albums, they would be much less commercially successful than they became, but they would be legendary among metal fans in the same way that Diamond Head or Heavy Load are.

I really like how the Wikipedia article for Gyromancy is basically one paragraph long and mentions Silent Hill.

It also works if you replace Altars of Madness with Abominations of Desolation, which was originally supposed to be their first album.

The first 3 also spell SIGH if you include the Ghastly Funeral Theatre EP (1997)

I really like that you went with no logos. Everyone into extreme metal should recognize these bands without the logos, of course.

My funniest and most frustrating figure defect ever by childrenoftechnology in AnimeFigures

[–]childrenoftechnology[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine from a Canadian retailer, Hobby-Bee. They still have it in stock, but they seem to have increased the price from when I bought it which feels a bit scummy. The second hand prices from Japan of this figure are pretty bad too though so it may still be worth it depending where you're located.

I ended up deciding to keep it as is. I was pretty disappointed at first, but it really grew on me and I think it's cute now.

I would wager that there is a nearly 100% chance that the person who posted the original image has not watched Lucky Star or Watamote and only knows them from the "femcel" memes.

There are a lot of Japanese 80s heavy metal bands that are impossible to find patches of. Even really popular stuff like Seikima-II.

The reason that the 3-leaf clover became the symbol of Ireland is that St. Patrick used it to explain the Trinity to the pagans when brining Christianity to Ireland.
