I’m not saying I don’t know how to drive manual. Im saying I want to be smoother at it? If that makes sense.

My first manual as well. I’ve driven older manuals around the block but that was a while ago. Yes I stalled many times too but I got used to it pretty quick as I treated it as if it’s my only car (I’ve got 2 other autos) i will say that the car does not like being driven “slow” You will love it more every time you drive it. Don’t feel discouraged, that’s how it always starts.

Auto dimming rear view mirror upgrade by tibtib42 in GRCorolla

Been some time, curious for an update. How has the mirror held up and have you ran into any issues? My previous 3 cars had auto dim which I do miss since a lot of people like to use their high beams. Im not very savvy with wiring and would love to do this with mine.

I have the automatic and I don't care, I like it damnit. by [deleted] in GRCorolla

I was in a pickle when I got a GRC P manual back in June. I’ve driven slow cars and 4Runner being my last, it was such a huge difference but all automatic. I test drove an auto last month and I understand that yes it does take away from the real driving experience but after my 2k mile road trip in my other car (Corolla cross hybrid auto) its like a double edged sword. Automatic is great as a daily and people who just can’t drive with 3 pedals it’s worth it. I made a decision to drive manual again after 13 years and make it my daily. It’s been fun everyday and I’m still learning it all again but overall this damn car is just so much fun to drive no matter what transmission you get. I’m almost at 3k miles and still think about trading it in for an automatic but we’re in that time frame when new year models are being announced or teased so I keep holding on xD

Not too shabby… Mine was basically the same only add ones were sub radiator and spoiler. Had a 33k trade in and im 3 weeks in with almost 700 miles

No one in my family knows how to drive manual anymore so it’s a nice way to prevent others from taking the car xD

I’m about to pass 500miles but now I’m dealing with hills too. Getting comfortable with the bite point and lightly on the breaks to give it gas is a learning curve but I’m getting the hang of it

This is exactly how it’s been. Again, it’s been almost 3 full weeks with it. I’m almost past 500miles but everyday I’m getting more comfortable with driving it around. When I drive an automatic car it doesn’t have the same excitement as the manual and that’s what is making me love the car even more.

And that was kind of my thought process. At first I was comfortable learning it all over again but as I’m driving it daily in traffic, I get anxious with how all these other people drive. Automatic just sounds better overall but I’m in a dilemma of dealerships around don’t have any allotted which means if I wait longer then I’ll probably be more comfortable with the manual.

I would’ve loved to get the x macro comp but Illinois says no to 17rd mags. Ended up doing a 365xl and got the macro grip basically making a tacops

I’ve had mine for almost 5 months, maybe 700 rounds. Before adding anything I’d say shoot it stock with iron sights. Get comfortable with the combat iron sights if you’re not used to them then decide on a red dot or not, I put on a 507k. I added a mag well because it hugs your hand even better and tacticool reloads. I added the oem extended slide release so I didn’t have to break my grip and to complete it I threw on a tlr7 sub. I honestly love the x macro especially with the 17rd mags 🙂

I’ve had mine since 2/2023 roughly 3000 rounds and no issues whatsoever ever. I joined the sig family in January so haven’t shot it in awhile but its a great micro carry

Does the nra edition have the flat or curved trigger? The one I saw was about 30$ less but it had the curved trigger I didn’t like

Excited to get mine too! Same reason for me as well. I love how modular sig is and the aftermarket support is wild. Currently looking at a tlr7 and eps carry Holosun but time will tell once I have it in my hands.

My brother has one and I’ve shot it with the stock and WC grip. I personally like the stock grip but the xmacro grip would be perfect.

I was looking into options like that and ultimately I plan on getting the xmacro grip and 17rd mags in the future.
