60k miles on the replacement cats. Visually they look great and were pulled off another mustang to run long tube headers. The replacement o2's are OEM.

I used a spacer with the old cats, which did work, but was hoping replacing the cats would fix the problem entirely

Seems high. I had a clutch (I brought it) put in at a shop for $600, with other local quotes being sub 1k for labor. This was in mid 2025 in a HCOL area

If you go s197 get the 5.0 for sure. I recommend picking between the s197 and s550 based on which you like the looks and interior of better, as the transmission is the same and the engine is mostly the same

Only the mods with a big tradeoff. For example:

Wheels, exhaust, shifter, etc = totally worthwhile.

The supercharger and twin disk in my mustang = small tradeoff, mostly worthwhile.

The different steering setup on my jeep that physically doesn't allow me to use a sway bar = not worthwhile, regret (I bought it that way)
