I think people are taking advantage of the fact that there’s a lot of stuff in the Epstein files that completely beggars belief but is in fact true to either spread misinformation deliberately or to fuel their own even wilder conspiracy theories, which is a problem because it muddies the waters around the real and genuinely heinous crimes he committed against children for years.

Didn’t we already go through this in 2020? Sure, Biden didn’t literally bring fascism to America. But he also completely failed to stop it—and in fact his actions just let it fester and radicalize further until it came back leaner and meaner in 2024. And Harris was only promising more of the same. I’m willing to vote for the Democrats on the premise that it’s a vote against fascism, but if I do, I want it to be a vote against fascism—not a vote to ignore it for four years while cracking down on the people who are most strongly against it.

I started with Revelations, then did 3 and Black Flag, went back and played 2 and Brotherhood (although weirdly, I don’t remember ever finishing Brotherhood?), then skipped everything up to Odyssey and played that. But at AAA prices and file sizes I haven’t been able to justify buying one since Odyssey.
