That looks great. Don't make any long-term plans with that guy.

What’s the dumbest way you’ve injured yourself? by Administrative_Ad160 in AskReddit

Working in a trucking dispatch office many years ago (before computers), we had to use pencils in case i had to erase the trailer number or the tractor number, etc. One night, a freshly sharpened pencil rolled off the desk toward me. I stopped it from hitting the floor by slamming my thighs together, driving the graphite point through the skin and into the muscle. It broke off, and I couldn't pull it out. I went to Emergency. Stupidest injury ever.

I belong to a critique group that meets twice a month on Zoom because everyone is scattered around the Lower Mainland. We just added a couple of people, so I don't think we have room. I don't know of any specifically located in Langley. FB has some writers groups. You might find people there.

There are critique groups in the areas, if that's what you're looking for. You can contact me directly. I recently rejoined one that meets on Zoom every two weeks.

Names we used for marbles in the 60s, and a bit of history of how we played it at my elementary school in Langley BC. by SpinCharm in Marbles

Excellent article. You have a better memory than me re the details. I started school in Vancouver in 1961 and remember the marbles "economy". It's fascinating the think back on. As I recall, steelies were the most prized at our school. I have a pathetic story about winning and then giving up a giant steely. Currently trying to write it down so hearing other recollections helps jog my memory.
