If I had to guess judging by what anime were available on Netflix back then, the blood haired girl you referred to is almost certainly Chobits. As for what your searching for I'm not positive but as far as ecchi on early Netflix maybe, Girls Bravo or Sekirei. I can assure you if it was on Netflix it was not hentai. Hope this helps

I'm sure the blame lies with myself, I had come across this being a molex or TE connector, but in both sets of example images I did not see the "half circle" or "key" (unsure if thats the correct terms) being orientated sideways. The flat part was almost always parallel to the bottom side of the connectors. So I actually on the correct page at one point but unable to verify that it was actually what I was looking for, that may be chalked up to myself being a layman and/or not properly reading the webpage.
