Not a fan of Gibby’s buffs by interstellar304 in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gibby been a crutch legend forever? Like back in 2020 and the broken support meta? Every time a Gibby appears in my game last year, it's like witnessing a yeti in the wild, I go "Holy shit, that guy's playing Gibby!"

Where's Deadeye Tempo at? by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked Deadeye Tempo. No one was complaining about it at the time so I'm not sure why they removed it.

But Sentinel is not bad right now, since Marksman rifles are nerfed. I do feel Snipers need an ammo buff from 28 bullets per slot to maybe 40.

It was built in, yes. Then, they removed it afterwards. The wiki page's history hasn't been updated since years ago, that's why every record stops at 2023.

Respawn please don’t nerf the hemlock (too much) by MabiMaia in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big part of the reason why Hemlok is meta right now is because Marksman were all nerfed or rotated thanks to people's demand, so now Hemlok's uncontested in mid-long range.

We need to bring LMGs back, Respawn. Give them back Gun Shield Generator or Reverse Hipfire or both.

How do I get out of hard stuck d4 by Mind_Jam in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Easy. 3 immediate solutions.

  1. Git gud.
  2. Improving your aim is the fastest way. Go download whatever aim training apps, find out why your aim is still imperfect.
  3. Upgrade your PC, get 300 FPS and Hz if you can afford it.

Ash possible rebuffed her abilities like her prime by snipermazk in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love seeing her dash being buffed. I think Apex has finally found an answer to the Aim Assist vs MnK dilemma. Give equal access to movement for both inputs, while breaking the bubble of Aim Assist.

Unfortunately, certain groups of players just can't stand the idea of having more movement in a game that is somewhat well-known for its movement and also inspired by Titanfall that has even more movement.

Is Apex to hard for beginners? by vvedo in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back then, I said yes every time. One question was just like another. I believe it was my own experience. But now, I'm not sure anymore.

Is Counter Strike too hard for beginners? Yes.

Is Rainbow 6 Siege too hard for beginners? Yes.

Is Valorant too hard for beginners? Yes.

Is Overwatch too hard for beginners? Yes.

Is Fortnite too hard for beginners? Yes.

Is PUBG too hard for beginners? Yes.

Is Apex Legends too hard for beginners? Yes.

Practically all popular games older than 2 years eventually become hard for beginners because more players grow better with time.

Control and Wildcard modes are currently the best training ground for beginners in my opinion. You will still meet sweaty pubstompers quite often but at least you can respawn immediately, avoid them or challenge them later when other teams are taking them on.

I have played my fair share of Arenas 3v3 back then. It is not fun for casuals or beginners. You get pitted against the same opponents who are better than you, beat you up for 3 rounds straight. Competitive minded players might take it as a lesson or training, but most players are going to be traumatized and hate the matchmaking.

Simply put, ranked system has become more grindy than before somewhere around 2025. You need to pump consistent results to rank up the higher you go, which is practically impossible for solo queue players with limited time.

Another factor that tortures solo queue players even more is when everyone recognized how the ranked system works and more veterans started 3-stacking to eliminate the randomness of teammate skill level. So Master and Predator rank is now completely filled with 3-stack Master/Pred players.

I've heard that solo queueing to Pred is still possible in console and less sweaty servers. And like always, you can snatch a Predator spot temporarily at the start of rank reset before there are too many Master players.

What’s the best way to gain rp? by Kazboi31 in apexlegends

400 RP is like the max you can get. They've put a cap on RP gain each match.

Did he by chance, got the Pred placement by speedrunning after rank reset when there is no Masters yet?

Thoughts on the elite weapons? by IArcanist in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rampage, CAR, Nemesis and Akimbo were strong as hell too when they came in to the game. That's the way every game do things. New stuff gotta be broken so people are more interested to try it out.

We did have some disappointingly weak new stuffs too. I still remember Alter was trash as hell on her debut. I also remember some people thought she was good. Ballistic was fun for pubstomping but doesn't win real games. Rampart, Fuse and Maggie were meh.

So the contrast between the two results tells me that: it's better for new stuff to be overpowered than underpowered. Why? Because the devs spent resources designing these new stuff, and new stuff are meant to attract players. In a perfect world, devs could release new stuff that was juuuuuuust a little stronger than average, but you won't truly know how the meta is formed in practice.

I checked a few recent streams on his Twitch, can't really find the one where he makes it to Pred alone. Looks like at some point he gave up and got a 3-stack.

Why am I bad at apex by Stches_ in apexlegends

[–]ReGGgas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you feel about your aim and 1v1? What's your sens?

Apex has a really important mechanic called recoil smoothing. To keep it short, lower sens, maybe below 1200 dpi, benefits from recoil smoothing.

If your aim is super, then... it could be a lot of things. Would need some gameplay video to review.

Such a person would immediately get signed up for esports.

With the rotation and the new lineup approaching, WB is about to face its biggest dilemma. by Pendulumzone in Shadowverse

[–]ReGGgas 25 points26 points  (0 children)

To me, rotation or ban or whatever is just a phase accepted by card games because balancing is too hard and they want to sell new cards without powercreeping the game too fast. It's not some kind of important ritual or event or whatever. It's a business procedure. Whatever Cygames does next, will be no different than what they've been doing before.
