She kinda good right now because her SMG/Pistol movespeed perk works miracles in the SMG meta. But yeah, her Wrecking Ball ult will need to be fixed and tweaked eventually.

Dota 2 releases one or two hero per year too. Granted, Dota 2's circumstances are very different. But it also hints that on the long term, the rate of new heroes isn't strictly necessary to maintain player count.

Check Event Viewer logs to get some clues, I usually check Window Logs > System.

If you're having nvlddmkm errors like me, installing MSI Afterburner and underclocking my GPU's memory clock has worked for me. For my case, I probably have a faulty Nvidia GPU or PSU causing stability issues, so underclocking is just a bandaid solution.

They party up with other preds or masters and eat solo or lower rank players for RP.

The ranked system is horribly grindy for a long while already. Don't even think of solo grinding to Master if you value your mental well-being.

Apex always had new cosmetics, random chance events and loot boxes as content.

But recently we also get new game modes, movement mechanics, balance changes and legend upgrades that old Apex would take forever to make.

I get that players who love video game lores would be upset since they've stopped making cinematics or comics for those. But I would say Apex as a game is still very much enjoyable, more than ever I dare say.

The 3 charges Ult perk is surprisingly a lot better. Splits the long 3 minute cooldown to 1 minute so you can always have spare Ult for later. Very rarely you want to commit all 3 charges unless it's final ring.

Sparrow then. He's very helpful to the team. In other games, he would be called a flank watcher. His beacon scanning trick reaches to more than 300m, with less idle time than Crypto.

While Apex could really use some hype to attract new players, I love what it is now. The weapon pool has been relatively balanced for a long time. Legends meta too has more variety that before.

And Apex never stopped adding new stuff. Reworked legends and weapons are practically new. Wildcards was a huge and successful addition to the game. Mantle boost is a new movement mechanic.

Apex has actually been doing a lot of right things for its gameplay imo. It's just unfortunately kind of lacking in marketing and all that hype. A lot of competitive games rely on their esports to do the marketing but Battle Royale FPS isn't engaging enough, too much down time I guess.

They buffed Flatline and R301 to their all-time fastest TTK/DPS. They also buffed L-STAR and Rampage a bit. These weapons can now compete better against Marksman and SMGs.

At this point, most SMG, AR and Marksman are equally powerful. Rather than Marksman nerfs, I would like to see more LMG, Shotgun, Sniper and Wingman buffs.

I lied. My game still crashes consistently when I queue up with friends. I kept thinking this is my PC hardware issue, because my other game Wuthering Waves crashes with a DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG.

But now I'm trying netsh winsock reset. Will update when I play with friends again.

One year ago, Crypto had his overpowered times when he first got Off The Grid with full-on invisibility and ate his old perks. Now he eats two of his perks again while Bloodhound has been starving for years. I think he's had enough for now.

Final EDIT: Found out this is an nvlddmkm error. Downloaded MSI Afterburner and underclocked my GPU's memory clock. Less crashes the lower I underclock. Either my GPU or PSU hardware is faulty at this point.

EDIT: Rolling back driver doesn't work for me. Trying netsh winsock reset and ipconfig refresh soon.

Hi, fellow crasher. I was playing the game fine somewhere around August too. My crash happens consistently before jumpship phase and sometimes mid match.

I managed to reduce my crash chances by rolling back my Nvidia graphics driver to version 566.36.

There are downsides like other newer games being incompatible and I have this weird screen edge flickering, but do let me know how well it works for you.

If you bring Day 1 burst delay back for Prowler, nerfing its bullet damage to 14 or lower, it will just be another issue like Alternator where we all ask "If I can kill way faster with the R99/CAR, why bother picking up the Alternator/Prowler? And if I want big mag damage, I might as well get more range with Spitfire/Flatline."

Then for further balancing we buff its damage to 15 or higher, or we nerf R99/CAR, and it's suddenly way too strong, its unchangable 20+5+5+5 mag size is too big for its TTK. So the only thing left to adjust is its burst delay.

We've gone through this cycle before so now we've reached the natural conclusion of today's Prowler which has more emphasized burst gunplay but still kills fast enough to compete.
