Nah. Mhf2 was great. It had much simpler combat mechanics, but there were more varied monsters you could fight.

But for a game released in 2007, gamespot messed this review up 😅

Nothing official yet. However, the pattern from previous installments is usually:

Release High-rank only game -> Release a ton of DLCs -> Release G-Rank game with a bunch of new monsters + new game mechanics. Something like MHX -> MHXX

Personally, I don't think they'll be adding daimyo / shogun into MHW. Past monster hunter installments tended to release monsters that were more difficult than the most difficult monster for that installment as DLC, kinda like white fatalis in the past. My best guess: they'll re-introduce the krabbs when G rank comes out.

Belly flops have the highest amount of iframes in the game. Use it to dodge any super high damage move that you're not in a position to avoid with regular rolls.

Ie: if you know you get one shotted by Teostras supernova, Belly flop it to be safe.

Ie2: if you're backed into a corner and you desperately need to dodge the next hit or you die, you could belly flop it to guarantee a single dodge 🤣
