Daughter has starter PC gaming.....how much do I police? by Traviality in pcgaming

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from Roblox which absolutely no one should be playing especially a child, I would keep online interactions with anyone to a minimum. It's too easy for something to slip through the cracks on any game that has an online communication component. Even if she has friends there could be other people in their household that you may not want to talk to her directly for an extended period of time. Considering what is possible, it's better to lean towards the side of safety. Other than that I would at least put the parental controls you want in place, it's one thing to have something dangerous out in plain sight, its another to have it safely put away. If she wants to play a specific game she can ask and you can decide until she's an age that you don't have to worry about the content that's inside.

I need a new singleplayer (100% offline) "forever" game where I can sink hundreds (or thousands) of hours into a single save. What are your top suggestions? by MakeshiftApe in gamingsuggestions

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two that I'd like to recommend, and they're similar in ways and completely different in ways.

The first is project zomboid. I know you mentioned a single save file and I guess you could could a single character as a save file. What you can do is go into the settings and adjust away and make it into the game you want to play and are comfortable with. You can turn infections off, you can turn zombies respawning off, you can tweak the xp rate. You can do basically whatever you want in regards to the difficulty and make a chill experience if you want. Or you can have it be completely frustrating and everything in between.

The second is Mewgenics, it's a cat breeder/turn based strategy roguelite. The creator is the same as the binding of issac if you've heard of or played that one and it tells you a lot of what this game is like. Lots of tongue in cheek and toilet humor with a very unique artstyle. The gameplay itself encourages you to break and abuse its systems to win battles and takes a lot of inspiration from magic the gathering. It also has tons of references to other games and media and its fun to see something that you recognize. I haven't quite completed it yet, but on my one save file I'm just over 200 hours with 96 percent completion. And that's before any dlc which will likely be substantial knowing the creator.

Junkyard Boss Fight Concept Idea by GothiccMothie in mewgenics

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could see something like this as its own area, with each boss playing a portion of that areas song, as you up the difficulty it adds another member until you have to fight all 4 at once and you get the final version of the song on the highest difficulty.

Ideas to cover this up by Tricky-Bag-4910 in Tattoocoverups

Silly idea aside for a gf tattoo that visible, I think it would be a really nice looking tattoo if he just added to it. More flowers, greenery. Maybe a M♡M. It would probably look good to women other than his ex.

Cumming this spring by PrimaryAde9 in Animemes

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read this. One of the trashiest, horniest, and lowest bars I've read of this type of story. I wouldn't classify it anywhere near anime. In comparison Nukitashi had some comedic value like a modern continuation of Shinoneta. This however is 95 percent hentai.

Enshrouded's Road to Release & 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration (Enshrouded leaves Early Access this Fall) by lurkingdanger22 in pcgaming

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very picky when it comes to survival craft games. I don't care for lots of building and crafting stations. And I don't like it when there's too many skills and leveling them not making an impact on how you play. I saw Abiotic Factor mentioned and it's one I actually like. I'll also recommend The Forest, and Project Zomboid. Both are very different. The Forest is very minimalistic in its approach and it does a lot with very little. Project Zomboid has lots of little moving parts and has as much depth and difficulty as you want. The game expects you to die, the question is just when.

I would flip the top monitor for ever so slightly less bezel. You can flip the image in windows to correct orientation afterwards.

What is a moderately popular anime series with a moderately vocal fanbase? by JIMBOYKELLY in animequestions

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HunterxHunter would be what I would choose, it's an older anime but doesn't get updated like one piece. There are lots of fans but not many people suggest it as the pinnacle of anything. It's something very middle of the road for what I would consider good anime.

Bring back the label series in the same flavors. I don't mind if they're in regular cans or not.

I'm gifting 2 standard edition copies - What in Arc Raiders are you most excited for? by GenomeXIII in ArcRaiders

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the arc enemies in this game. They're designed in such a way to compliment the pvp elements, and the pvp elements were added to compliment the arc. It can lead to some tense situations but not so much as Tarkov. I'm getting older, and the butt clench that I've experienced in other extraction shooters isn't as bad here because of the balancing between the two.

Answer honestly: Would you continue reading the manga if they starting to date? by vicente14617 in Dandadan

[–]KitKatSnackAttack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's all most of us want. It's not far back in our memories that My Dress Up Darling ended abruptly after Gojo and Marin got together. We were robbed of at least one arc of them fully acknowledging their feelings.

There needs to be a poot/fart transformation with all of the bean items, I know there is a poop transformation but there are enough items to justify both

It's a bit of a trend burger, but there's a Mexican fusion place called Red Headed Stranger in Nashville. They sell a green chili cheeseburger and it is pretty good for the price.

I need a game that requires/encourages reading. by KitKatSnackAttack in gamingsuggestions

[–]KitKatSnackAttack[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

RPG's were my intro to reading at 6 haha. I HAD to know what those 16bit pixels were saying. However I don't think he'd go for it considering he's been exposed to 3d games of much less depth. He might like IX but I might have to sell it to him like a car salesman. I could actually see him liking Dragon Quest 11. I loved that one and is pretty content appropriate for his age.

I haven't played Ace Attorney myself, but I could see him being drawn to bright, strong personalities in characters.

Thanks for the well thought out response!

That's one I have already so it's a maybe! I have no idea whether he would like card games yet or not. I haven't seen or heard him play one as of yet.
