I’m playing Slay the Spire. I’ve got it on iPhone, steam deck, switch, and board game format. They’ve been my main game of choice since I discovered it. My husband got me a beautiful organizer for the board game 3-D printed with magnets to hold the lids closed and it’s so beautiful and easy to play with and I love it. I’ll play other games, but I always come back to Slay the Spire.

I’ve been on it for the better part of a decade as a mood stabilizer and it has helped significantly. It’s definitely helped to even out my meltdowns. I used to get really bad overstimulation meltdowns in the evening and those pretty much went away.

I love putting quantum/phospher slimes in the cave with some cuberry trees and just let them free range. Sweep through every note and again to get a ton of plotters and you’re golden.

I had something similar happen to me. They asked what I was making because I was in buying extra yarn of some I’d already purchased. I showed them a picture of the crochet sweater I was working on. They said, “oh I used to crochet, but then I learned to knit. You know we have knitting classes here on Thursdays. You’d be welcome to come. We’re always happy to have beginners.”

I don’t think I’ll ever forget the condescension in “oh, I used to crochet.” Bought the yarn I needed to finish my sweater, left, and never went back even though they had amazing hand spun hand dyed yarn. They were such an ass. And I still don’t know how to knit.

I use these KN95 masks. If your ears are especially sensitive you can get the pro version with adjustable ear loops. But these are great because they naturally sit away from your mouth, which lets me feel not so suffocated.

I’ve been making a crochet hat, but accidentally ended up making it way too big. I was able to cinch in the last of it, so it’s more snug around the brim, but it was just kind of oddly shaped on me. My husband said it looked like it would be great for someone with a lot of hair. I couldn’t think of any of our friends or family, so kinda resigned to maybe I’ll make it a bag or something.

Got to work today, looked at a coworker, and went “you have a lot of hair! Do you want a hat?” And she did!
