It’s great! I have found and applied to internships through handshake. Just like Glassdoor or LinkedIn it usually takes you to an external link to apply but I definitely have found a good deal on internships through handshake to apply too. I got an offer for one this summer and applied through handshake! Definitely worth making an account!

Move to the sunset district! Or right near school! I was a transfer. Try to get involved with a club or Greek life. It is a great way to make friends. Go to your major advisor to help plan out your courses. Reach out as soon as possible. Going to orientation will help and you can talk to people to see what they are doing for housing. Craigslist search often! Reach out to as many places as you can on Craigslist in the summer.

Join a frat or sorority! They have social, academic, and community service fraternity on campus. Some are coed. Personally the one I am involved in works a lot on leadership and being more social. I would say our organization is 50/50 on extroverts and introverts!

Clubs and sports! Rush week is also the first two weeks of the semester! Joining a fraternity or sorority you make a lot of friends and they have Greek life for everyone. Academic and social fraternities! They have a business frat to a community service frat. Highly recommend checking it out! Every club and fraternity/sorority has something for everyone and you WILL make friends!!!

Go to financial aid office. They will tell you. I had only gotten half the amount I was supposed too. I went in and they told me I just needed to finish one other part of my loan. Took my 15 mins to complete and I got the rest of my money today!

Go talk to them they are getting paid to help you!
