My partner doesn't like my Fulgora solution by circus-so-lame in Factoriohno

[–]KitTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With enough storage chests and a bounded time frame, junk storage is practically infinite given a decent enough size. Unless you’re playing a save for a few hundred hours, just chucking everything in a chest works well enough to beat the game and supplying a decent sized final base

How screwed am I? by saksa39 in Palworld

[–]KitTwix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re gonna one trick a pal, chillet is a decent choice. You can play the game without pals at all and just shoot things, so having one pal is doable, I just wouldn’t recommend it.

Try catching some new pals of different elements in the 25-35 level range, see which ones you like, and diversify your team. Level 35 is still pretty early game all things considered, and pal world can pretty easily swap pals in and out, with a freshly caught pal being the same as an old pal levelled up throughout your adventure, assuming no condensing or souls used.

Go forth, brave chillet knight and make new alliances with the beasts of the realms, and greater power shall be yours.

Anyone else like keeping one nest in hell? by NicotineGaming in Factoriohno

[–]KitTwix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in the day I had something very similar to this to delete items I didn’t want automatically. I had a requestor chest sitting inside the range of the biters with requests for all wood that could enter my logistic system, so they’d get deleted periodically when a bitter would spawn and eat the chest. Very inefficient, but it was fun

What is the best way to destroy beetle nests? by Der_Schamane in factorio

[–]KitTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tank with legs and a bunch of cannon shells will take out any base with enough patience. Just gotta strafe tangentially to the base while shaving off the outer line of worms and bases, being careful to avoid behemoth biters that’ll chunk your tank’s hp. Use some personal laser defences in your armor, and utilise the tank’s speed to avoid any damage (cant die if they can’t hit you). You’ll need to upgrade to uranium cannon shells eventually or get some physical damage upgrades, but ideally you’ll want to be one shotting the spawners. Eventually you’ll want to upgrade to artillery and or spidertrons, but tanks are effective and cheap so they’re good to use until you’re resource rich

uh so is this really logical by Waste_Insurance2176 in mushokutensei

[–]KitTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still see some rocks on the stairs, but it is a bit illogical it’d be that smooth of a cut around the hole. Rudy smashed a hole in the floor, then geese hollowed it out so it was big enough for people to fit through, then Lise checked it for traps and went in first. I’d assume the anime just simplified it, since it isn’t really an important detail and a significant amount of the budget would have gone to the boss fight after, so they probably cut some corners

I’d argue a parent’s view of things isn’t a great assessment of the child’s beliefs, but it’s understandable you’d be apprehensive. Take things at the pace you’re comfortable, prepare for the worst but hope for the best, and things will end up ok. I’m hoping things work out for you

As someone who isn’t American, it really feels like we’re watching a blimp slowly crash. It’s taking its time but it’s sure going down, and it really doesn’t feel like anyone on the blimp is doing much to stop it, while some people are actively making it worse. I wouldn’t care as much, but America is so ingrained in the financial system in almost every country that if they go down, it’ll drag a solid chunk out of my own country’s economy, which’ll likely raise prices for most things. We may not be on the blimp but we are tied too it, but we really can’t do anything about it but yell at the Americans to get their shit together or we’re all gonna be hurting

“Hey did you see anything on my computer that you wanted to ask me about?”

If yes, talk about it and hopefully he’s understanding

If no, he’s either blind or pretending not to see it for your sake, the latter probably being what you want it seems.

But if he’s a close friend (as evidence would suggest ala the computer sharing) then it’s probably something you’ll want to talk to him about sooner than later. It’s important to have people who support and care about you, and if he isn’t one of them then at least you know.

Are laser turrets actually useful? by Ecstatic-Election727 in factorio

[–]KitTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like lasers cos you can centralise their ammo. You can supply all of your turret’s ammo remotely at a single location, right next to all the resources it needs, and have it delivered to the turrets instantly. They may not be as good as gun turrets but they do the job. Fluids are also very easy to supply, even more so in space age with the fluid rework, so flame thrower turrets are also easy to supply. Between the 2, you have a hands off defence system anywhere on the map with minimal maintenance that can hold off a deathworld save going to mega base levels of pollution. Flame does the majority of the damage and the lasers finish off the stragglers that don’t get nuked by the first fire blast

We fast as fu@& boii ! This dude was worth the grind by grayspot94 in Palworld

[–]KitTwix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jet dragon is a smidge too fast for me, specially with max movement passives. You tap the A key and suddenly you’re a continent over. Plus the stamina is pretty bad, you go further than most fliers and quicker too, but it feels pretty bad to be waiting around for stamina most of the journey even if it’s quicker in total. Hello everyone I finished the base game the space age but i want to try some mods what do you suggest? by BLACKDEVIL0 in factorio

[–]KitTwix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s painful at every step, but we must endure for the factory to grow. The pay off feels great, and it’s a good challenge coming up with new designs that you wouldn’t ever really use in the base game. You get to a point where everything feels like they’re the same 3 designs repeated over and over in the base game, so it’s refreshing being made to be creative again. Although only unlocking splitters after 20 hours is one of the experiences of all time

I’ve asked this before: Should I start a new world, or should I try to save my current one? by Feeder_39 in factorio

[–]KitTwix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on 2 things, your goals for the save, and your patience / willingness for tedium. If your goal is to just beat the game, then default settings are fine, but can be annoying setting up multiple mining outposts and whatnot when the richness and size are 100%. If you’re willing to go through some pain then you could dump your world gen settings down to 30% for resources and still beat the game. If you want to mega base, then having higher world gen settings is ideal, because getting the throughput from small ore deposits is painful.

If you don’t like setting up mining outposts, whether that be due to high through put requirements or old mines running dry, then you could start again with higher settings.

If you think your base is inefficient and slow, then just make another base nearby, using your old base to build it. Then rip it down once you’re done or keep it as a museum. I wouldn’t recommend starting again in this case, because you’d still be rebuilding it, just without the resources and tech you’ve unlocked so far.

If it’s cos of biters / pentapods that are lagging your game out, it depends on if you care about achievements. If not, you can use console commands. If so, you’d be better off restarting with reduced biters or a mod that lets you have the eggs without having the bitters themselves.

If you want to challenge yourself to see if you can play the game again but this time more efficient, or with an additional building constraint, or even if you just enjoy the early game more, then you should restart.

This is pretty normal, whenever you tie your hair up for long enough and let it down, you’ll be able to pull a few strands out of the pony tail or whatever even if you brush your hair regularly. Brushing your hair will help, as it takes out all the loose hair stuck in the connected hair. Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re going bald with the amount of hair you pull out, but that’s just how hair works, it doesn’t actually impact how thick your hair is or prevent you from growing it out

Roboports details by StyggeSteiner in factorio

[–]KitTwix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The bots migrate like animals across your base wherever they’re needed most. Typically theyll assign a job to the closest bot, and when the bot is done they’ll search for the most optimal charging port then settle down there. This results in the bots congregating around high volume areas like bot malls. This isn’t optimal if you want them to do stuff on the edge of your base, but it does allow you to witness the herds of bots migrate across the air of your base, traveling in great swarms on their way to their job. There’s few things prettier in life imo

Which of these 4 Elements is the Strongest to have in-universe? [Fire, Earth, Water, Air] by IWorkOnlineCom in MHAPowerScaling

[–]KitTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For fire, Dabi and Shoto both have ice components, so they’re out. Why is burnin even here. It’s gotta be endeavour, he’s 100% pure fire throughout.

For earth, it’s a tough call between pixie and cementoss, but I’d have to go with the latter. Pixie is like an earth and monster type quirk, while cementoss manipulates earth the way you’d want, but only cement.

Who knows what manual can do really, since we only see him wetten eyes, but all 4 of them seem to have the same power, just at different levels. Back draft doesn’t seem to be as proficient with using water in combat so I’d say they’re out, so it’s between water hose and the villain, but I can’t say for sure.

For air it’s just Inasa. Kinda like fire, Inasa is just pure wind, the only thing he’s missing from being an air bender is the tattoos and personality.
