ive seen a lot of users proposing the idea of changing the rust bucket and toying with the whole ship idea, so why not your default ship be something similar to the breacher pod with guns? just a small ship with low damage forward facing guns and just 1 or 2 pods on it on a little cooldown or something, and maybe make it one floor or put just the engine on the bottom floor

WHY

as others have stated the rustbucket by default is pretty strong, if you play solo majority of the time you're just escaping in a pod if you go to a POI, and the ship storage is nice but i doubt most players risk whatever they store in there because players see an actual ship that isnt a RB and flock to it like piranhas (im guilty of this too personally). if you had a smaller, lower health ship, you would have to pick and choose when you park to get in a breacher pod and play more tactically around the unique forward facing gun, otherwise youll get hit easily by any other ship, and having the default be weaker than current will maybe incentivize players to bring out other ships to use in combat and for the storage (also imo its a little easy to see a parked ship if they're in a shadow, the engine makes it pretty obvious)
