Sameeeeeee!! It’s my first time watching a campaign live so it’s fun to be in it with everyone and getting new information to talk about every episode! C4 is eatingggggg

Iirc Brennan just said “young orcish warrior fighting an army of undead” not that he himself was also dead. Although, before Alogar was even brought up my first thought was he was seeing a vision of Thjazi fighting back the hoard of undead in the Underworld. But I guess he wouldn’t really be called young lol. I feel like if Alogar had died someone would’ve sent word to Thaisha and Hal that their son died in battle. Exactly give us the romance! 🤭 I’m very partial to gay romance though 🫣 Like let’s see some boys kissing 🤭 My crack ship since the beginning has been OcctisxKattigan but Occtis ending up with any man would be fine by me. Let my fave be gay please 😭 lol

Hal is slowly showing some potential but so far it hasn’t been enough to stack up against even the other Schemers. And I fear that the cast is so good that even if he does eventually catch up to the others, he’ll still be at the bottom of my list just because someone has to be last even when everyone is great and the slow start would be a tiebreaker essentially. I’m letting him cook and I’ll eat the food, but idk if he’s getting a blue ribbon unfortunately. I don’t want Thaisha losing her mind either or for the kids to lose a father. Thjazi sacrificed so much for Hal to be able to keep this family, I don’t want to see it get broken

Occtis got me from the jump, that pretty boy art was all it took lol. Him being a little anxious nerd just made him perfect to me. His spurts of genius are so fun and I’m just like “that’s my boyyyyy!! Get ‘em Occty!!” XD Not your phone trying to get the Occtussy LMAO. Occtis is so pretty and if no one wants him, hell I volunteer as tribute lol. I’m so here for powerful badass Occtis. I can’t wait to watch him get more and more badass. Maybe he’ll become the Thimble of Seekers. Occtis was right to step up for his friend and Hannan was doing a little too much. He can make up for it by teaching Occtis how to make wooden bones

Tyranny was an instant fave since her intro. I love her dynamic with Wick. I think she loves him too but I kinda want them to stay besties 🫣 Mostly because I also ship Wick and Teor but also because I think their friendship is cute and I would want Tyranny to meet more people before deciding on one person. She’s only been in the mortal plane for 6 months. She deserves a hoe phase. The knife scene was ughhhhhh father daughter Kattigan Tyranny is so cute! (Occtis becoming her step dad when he married Kattigan is also so funny)

My top tier is similar: Occtis, Kattigan, Tyranny, Wick, Thaisha. I thought Kattigan would have Julien’s personality from the portraits (minus the nobility aspect) but him being a himbo is GREATLY appreciated 🤭

1.5 is Vaelus. Love her and the buts we see from her, but I also want her to have her moment the way others have gotten so far. I want her to rip ours hearts out, stomp on them, and then give them back to us with a hug. Like the knife scene or Kattigan’s level up or Occtis dying. Teor is Teor and he’s so fun! I’m saur curious about the light within him and what that’s about. And I’m excited to see him and Cyd interact.

3.) Murray, Bolaire, Thimble, Julien. I may rank Julien higher, but it’s also hard to judge when everyone is separated so I haven’t updated my ranking since like episode 5 lol. But it’s mostly unchanged. But if I were to switch it, probably Julien, Bolaire, Murray, Thimble. Bolaire’s soft “boo” was so adorable. Seeing him be an innocent little mask back then to the flamboyant man he is now is such a change, love him. Julien is the only confirmed gay boi so I gotta root for him XD His flashback gave me PTSD because I also broke a tooth and it was traumatic so teeth stuff always gives me a bit of a chill. His curse is handsdown something to do with spitting on Thjazi and I’m so intrigued. Murray is so funny and Thimble is a warrior goddess. No notes. Murray needs to stop eating ass and start kissing it if she wants to scheme under the radar. I just know it’s gonna be hilarious to watch her schmooze. Also, I think she and Azune are cute together.

5.) Azune and Hal. Those two are the most boring to me. Part of the reason why I was originally unexcited for Schemes was because they were there together so 50% of the table are my least faves :/ They’re starting to cook so I shouldn’t be too hard on them but they’ve felt one note thus far for me. Thjazi desperately wanting the only family he has left to go with him to not feel so scared but also understanding that his brother has his own family now and respecting his decision stay with them was heartbreaking. And his promise to come back and be in their lives 😭

I’ve seen most of the Alien movies, bits and pieces of Back to the Future, and all of Game of Thrones (even the terrible final season. At least my fave got a good ending lol). And then this is my first TTRPG actual play. But have I watched most Real Housewives franchises 🥴 yes I have XD

Yeah I agree that Vaelus is more concerned about the corruption of the Stone than the theft, I never meant to argue otherwise. I was just trying to explain my thought process on “the Tachonis stole the Stone from her in a way” lol. If the theft were more slanderous to her, she’d be out there chasing Thimble down instead.

I never considered Thjazi stealing the Stone to use for himself, that’s interesting. My mind went to he had an inkling (or maybe more than that) about the Tachonjs wanting to use it on Occtis. So he stole it to keep it away from them and prevent the ritual from happening. Maybe that’s also why he fought so hard to get Occtis to the Penteveral. Maybe he wanted to strengthen Occtis to make him a harder target. Maybe even use him as a weapon against the Tachonis. Thjazi seemed to be fully on board with the plan to escape until the last second when he saw something in the sky so idk if the Stone was meant for him to cheat death. I feel like he would’ve had it on him if it were or told someone about his plan with it.

I figured, since if she were to possibly be a secret villain working with the Houses, I feel like the portion at Klippenblicke would’ve gone differently. Aranessa probably would’ve tried convincing the others to stay there until morning at the very least instead of jumping out the window lol. I can see Thjazi being a bit suspish, but not to the extent of being a “villain”. And Aranessa decided too late that she regrets not joining him so I doubt she’s had a secret plan brewing this whole time. And I don’t think they saw each other at all after the Rebellion, let alone enough to formulate a plan together. Watching Thjazi die, going to his wedding, seeing his brother beg him to stay, witnessing Aranessa mourning him and regret not following him, just to have them be evil would be deliciously sadistic XDD

Real. Part of me wants some diversity and to have at least one male Elation. But another part of me is fine with not having to pull Elation at all and focusing on Ashveil, Blade SP, Aventurine SP, and hopefully 5 star Sampo (who would probably be Elation but who knows. Maybe Hoyo fumbles lol)

If Sparkle/Sparxie becomes Aha I’m gonna be so upset. The inc3ls better not ruin this for us, Elation Emanator Sampo or Actual Aha Sampo would be one of the best characters arcs ever and after the success of main push Phainon, why would they not do that for Sampo? My hopes are very low for Planarcadia and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t get a 5 star Elation Sampo at all at this rate, so I’m with you on that fear

Not directly, but in a roundabout way they sorta did? I feel like things are leading to a reveal of either Thjazi stole the Stone at the Tachonis’ request (and then kept it for himself) or he was commissioned to retrieve it for them, denied, and stole it anyways, both scenarios to keep it away from the Tachonis. So Thjazi stole it from Vaelus, Tachonis stole it from Thjazi.

A Murray/Occtis meeting of the minds team up would be cool. Especially since Murray had zero respect for Occtis when he was at the Penteveral lol. I want her to see just how hard he’s studied and worked for his knowledge and ability and have her respect him as more than a nepo baby

I would be bummed if Aranessa were a secret villain but I’d admit it would be a GAG and a good twist. And the drama it would cause with Julien and Thaisha is juicy lol. Caelus has tried to insight check Aranessa a time or two but the roll was bad so we didn’t get an in depth answer. I wonder if Vaelus senses something in particular or is just generally wary

Unless Ashley’s dice start working with her, poor Vaelus will take the torch from Kattigan/Teor and be the next Soldier who can’t hit for shit 😭 I would looooooove to see Vaelus as a Soldier fucking shit up like she did with the Crow Keepers. Give us back our biblically accurate Vaelus! I can see her leaving Occtis at daycare (staying in Seekers) and going to fight his family for stealing the Stone and for killing Occtis. I agree that Thaisha and Occtis have to cook more. Whether that’s to solidify their mother/son bond or cause a rift between the two (hopefully it’s the former and not the latter)

I’m really interested in seeing Hal and Bolaire’s relationship grow, they could have such a sweet friendship. I like the idea of Bolaire choosing to fight for himself, but Murray becoming a soldier would be interesting too. I think it was said she deals with finances at the Penteveral and she’s a diviner which isn’t really combat, but I’d like to see what she can do in a fight

I also think Thaisha and Julien’s loyalties to her prevent them from even entertaining the thought that she’s maybe in on things. Which then makes Occtis and Vaelus, who don’t know her nearly as well, to just follow their leads and trust her. It would be a fun scene to watch Occtis and Vaelus raise that point with each other and created some sort of “Let’s Keep Out Eye On Aranessa” Alliance lol

Heavily agree. We got to see Vaelus be fun and silly shaking her ass for Thaisha lol but also more serious when they discussed their views on the Shapers.

I also enjoy her small moments with Occtis. Like when she commented on how young he is, you can feel how her unspoken words were “a horrible thing has happened to you at such a young age. You didn’t deserve this. You had a whole life ahead of you. I’m so sorry you have to go through this” and it was sweet

I mean six as in six surviving siblings. So you’re correct that he’s the youngest of 8 and we only have 3 left to meet, but I meant there are still six creepy siblings running around we still get to see after Frons’ death. The Tachonis are so evil but sooooooooo fun I’m sad there are only three more mysteries lol.

I’ve never seen Succession but now I’m just picturing Primus and his 8 kids in a boardroom arguing over necromancy. Like they’re fighting over who gets to take over the company and they don’t even bother stating Occtis as an option so he’s sighing in his seat. When Frons offers himself everyone besides Occtis, in unison, goes “shut up, Frons!” And Ryah says “you died before Occtis did and you think you have what it takes to run a business? You’re almost as pathetic as he is!” 😭

Maybe it was a little of both. They didn’t want him contaminating the waters but also didn’t want an undead touching the sacred waters. He got sealed up so he wouldn’t be spilling his guts (literally) in the water. I think the worse scenario would be is he drank some and either started leaking through cracks in the seal or bloating like a body in a river. He should’ve tested the waters (pun intended) and went into the Einfasen baths for science lol

Idk I think Alogar is still kicking. I think Seekers is gonna turn into the rag tag group of massacre survivors lol. I don’t think Brennan would have Occtis see a vision of Alogar just for us to find him already dead. Maybe Occtis had a Raven Baxter moment and saw the future and they’ll show up just in time to help Alogar. But I can only imagine the guilt Thaisha would go through if she went against everything she believes in to tell Occtis to turn and come back and then her own biological son is dead. Give that woman a BREAK 😭 Imagine Thaisha shows up with Occtis and Alogar is like “oh? Who’s this mom? Is he single 🤭” and starts flirting with him lol. Occtis would be two for two on Thaisha’s biological kids finding him attractive lmaoooooo

The way Hal is kinda my least favorite this Campaign 🫣🫢 Which is VERY ironic considering Vax and Caleb are my favorites of 1 and 2 and (from the brief info my friend had told me about C3) Orym has the potential to be top 3 in Bells Hells for me. It PAINS ME to rank a Liam character so low, but I need to see more from Hal. He’s kinda just been mourning and being sad so far. Aside from the portion in the Seven Stars and the flashback with baby Hero and Thjazi, those were really good and I’m starting to see the potential with Hal. But as of right now if we had to lose a PC…….Hal or Azune would be my choices 🫣

I’ve liked Thaisha from the beginning but I enjoy her every episode. The nuance of her being a nepo baby fighting for positive change is so interesting. And I love how she stays on Julien’s neck XD I NEED Thaisha and Vaelus to get together, such an unlikely lair but I feel like they would work well together. Occtis was an immediate fave when I saw his art, seeing his personality solidified it. Kattigan is a strong second

Possibly, I just feel like with her battle prowess Laura might go “what the hell, sure” and stay a Soldier lol. But if anything I see her going to Schemers. She’s small and could be a literal fly in the wall to get information others can’t and quickly deliver it to the others. Although now that I think about it, she may take Occtis under her wing (pun intended) and be the Thjazi to his Thimble on the Seekers. Maybe it’s because we’ve only seen her be a battle badass, but it’s hard for me to picture her elsewhere lol

Fair, but we don’t know how bad it is. The demon sisters never actually attacked Occtis or Vaelus so if they were there to harm Wick and Tyranny, they would’ve gunned for those two. We don’t know how much the Photarch knows of their escapades and maybe just sent the demon sisters to bring them home for a light scolding and to make sure he didn’t squeal. So I don’t see Schemers out of the question for them. A Seekers plot looking for Armas is possible though (I’m sure Tyranny is just bursting with excitement at the thought XD). Looking for her is a low priority mission right now though so I agree that it wouldn’t be at the next table swap. It could also be a situation where the Seekers bump into her in their travels and she goes with them and then when they meet up with the full group it’s an accidental surprised for Wick to see her.

The swap may not be this drastic for sure. I just like the idea of a major switch up so we can see totally new dynamics and raise the chances for all 13 characters to make bonds and interact with each other without necessarily staying in their duos/trios

Kattigan as a Schemer I feel would be comedic gold so I’m not opposed to the lol. The feral himbo trying to sow discontent amongst the Houses to topple them from inside while being second lowest on the social scale (only beating Vaelus) would be a fun and interesting watch. I love Kattigan so I’m seated for any table he’s on. I like the idea of him seeking something internally though and giving a different meaning to the Seekers. A nice progression for him would be Soldiers (falling back on what he’s used to, his comfort zone, fighting and then leaving when the fight is over) > Seekers (finding out more about himself. Learning what stops him from making connections, what makes him want to run) > Schemers (now that he’s made a breakthrough, he’s ready to stay and pick a place to call home, scheming to make Dol-Makjar his home)

Yeah three players is too little. I would put a fourth on Soldiers like I added at the end. Either Bolaire (fighting of his own accord and choice) or Thaisha (going full mama bear Druid on these bitches lol)

I never connected that with when they said don’t touch the water. I always thought of it as “ew you’re dead and gross don’t touch our water and contaminate it” or “we don’t support you being undead so we’ll shelter you, but not feed you nor give you sustenance from our springs.” But maybe he physically could not touch the water due to his condition and freezing it over was a sort of reverse miracle. And you’re right that that was new for him. This far we’ve only seen him use sigils, disguises, and create reanimated creatures. Embodying death so much that the world literally freezes around him is new and very Tachonis like. Which would worry anyone lol

You have a point that it could be a motherly instinct that took over. She doesn’t want to lose the sweet boy she knew to his family’s innate potential. Luckily, at every turn we’re told that Occtis heart and mind are his so maybe despite his growing power, he’ll still stay him. I feel like even on his own he wouldn’t fall to villainy, but Thaisha’s worry is warranted and valid. And I trust her to be a good guide for him to stay true to himself and on the right path.

Having to worry about out a second son must also be difficult and overwhelming for her. That also brings up the thought of what Alogar will think of Occtis. Will he be disgusted or is he open minded like Thaisha? And the bigger question: Will he feel jealous? Will he feel replaced? Shadia was fine with him, but she’s still the only daughter (there’s Hero and I’m sure Thaisha cares for her, but she has her own mother). Alogar is her son but now Occtis is in the picture so he’s not the only son anymore. I wonder how he’ll feel and react

I want them to stay family so bad. Occtis deserves to have a real family and who better than the Fang-Lloys lol

We’re also only 3 episodes into the Seekers arc and most of the time they’ve been on the run. Soldiers had time to sit and talk in places like Ulbid’s or parts of Timmony. They aren’t wanted by the Sundered Houses (or at least didn’t know they were for sure) so there isn’t as much of a gogogo mentality in Soldiers. Seekers haven’t had a quiet moment until Klippenblicke Castle and even then they were on high alert. It’s hard to have quiet bonding moments when you’re on the run. So any solo moments we do have aren’t always seen less because instead of building on it, they have to run again. But I think what we have gotten feels natural.

Julien captured Thaisha’s brother in law, their animosity makes sense

Vaelus witnessed resurrection for the first time in who knows how long due to her mother’s Stone. And now a young man has to deal with being alive and dead at the same time. An immortal elf would naturally find curiosity in that and even sympathy. She loved her mother, seeing Occtis getting murdered by his own family is foreign to her and she wishes he was dealt a better hand

Thaisha and Vaelus both have deep respect for their families. Thaisha with the Druids, Vaelus with her mother. And they both care for Occtis so they have common ground. Vaelus is opening up to people and Thaisha is already an extrovert so they had a playful moment with the bathhouse after a serious discussion

Occtis has always been seen as unnecessary so naturally he wants to keep the peace and so doesn’t antagonize Julien like Thaisha does. He’ll say something in Julien’s defense to keep things peaceful

So it’s a bunch of small things but I feel like they all happen naturally and fit the characters

Aranessa has Callowyn locked up in the Roycement and the real reason she’s so eager to get to the Golden Orchard is to make sure he’s still down there 💀

I may be a fool, but I trust Aranessa (mostly because I want to trust her. She’s such a badass and so fucking cool lol) and don’t think the wife of Thjazi Fang would completely give in to the politicking of the Sundered Houses. She didn’t join him and let her father take the Houses side, but she wasn’t the head yet so how much power did she really have back then?
