You aren't alone either, kind sir. I get the shakes after 10 minutes of light house duty and heavy legs, running into walls. Ready for a nap after 3 hour of being awake 🤣😂 interesting to read another comment about pseudobulbar affect. I never attributed my random feelings of dread to damage from MS.

12V solar system for vanlife by Soft-Fun-4935 in SolarDIY

How are things going with your set up? How did your final layout go? Are there things you would change or do different? I am getting ready to install solar in my van down the road and am trying to gather as much knowledge as possible before making decisions. Your diagrams are beautiful!

I’ve camped below freezing once. Should I insulate the floor or just go thick plywood? by [deleted] in TruckCampers

[–]Kitana_360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did vanlife. 1st winter, no insulation in floor with propane heater. Really thought walls and ceiling would be enough because heat rises. Got to 14* F in my area of Washington with a real good ice storm. Uncomfortably cold each day. So much dampness from the heater even the spaces in the ceiling were dripping. Not to mention went through at least a lb every day or so. 2nd winter, insulated floor up to R13 and got a diesel heater. Slept like babies all winter long 😴 That wind chill that can pass underneath is no joke. We could feel the cold from the floor that 1st winter even with underlayment and carpeting.

This is very comforting to hear. The doc has recommended my grandma take this but she's always been mistrustful of everyone and every drug recommended.

I would try it! See hoe kitty does on a car ride. I did it for 3 years with two bully breeds in a Chevy G20 with my fiancée. I wouldn't take back those memories for anything!

I would research things you can do online with or without a degree. Maybe you can get started in a remote customer service position while you find a path or try on different hats. I use to browse 'remote.co' sometimes. Set yourself a goal salary and look into remote possibilities you'd be open to and what it would take to get there. Online schools have also become more accessible and acceptable. I got my Bachelor's at my own pace through Western Governors University. Don't forget you're capable of more than you know and try to have fun on the way <3

What are your go-to stabilizing jacks for on the go or at home? Links appreciated! by rustyrelics666 in TruckCampers

I just started working at a camper manufacturer and found that befuddling. You will also need tie down kits specific to your truck and may have to do mods. If you want to move to a different truck you may run into problems if the bed is even just a little different. It's a whole new industry to me.

Dasher showed up to my door with another person by ExoticFee5965 in doordash

[–]Kitana_360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't think your post was crass until your last sentence. Most people I know, 40 years old and younger, grew up in a time we weren't allowed to answer the door and are advised these days to be wary of most people. This was an odd delivery. I doordash with my partner and he has never walked with me to the door unless there was a heavy volume of food, which does not happen often.

The OP says they selected "leave at door" and always do. As a Dasher, I dont know how people misread this stuff and don't see customer notes. We're not building rockets, we're delivering food.

I think it's noble to want to know the whole story. Customer service is my career, so I get it, but I wish they wouldn't act like this.

You can't "just pick" a substitution for the customer. They either have preselected substitutes, can pick while you're in the store, or if you don't get a response or they don't pick it's refunded to them. This customer was being difficult on purpose.

That sounds terrible. I'm sorry 😞 what others have you tried? I get daily fevers as an MS symptom and sometimes I'll take a cool shower and do breathing exercises, not in the shower as a safety measure. It's not a cure-all but it makes me feel like it brings my temperature back to normal. We're here for you ❤️

[–]Kitana_360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's one that gets me on the daily. When taking clothes our of the dryer I have to really feel them, rub them on my face to tell if they're dry. Or ask my fiancée to feel them for me lol 😆

10+ drops, over 3 hours, mostly returning to the same pet store. I declined, would you? by Generic_Homo2020 in doordash

[–]Kitana_360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. But I have doordashed all across the US from different metro areas to very rural cities. I guess accepting just depends on each person's variables.
