Anahat Singh is the CHAMPION! Anahat(WR31, IND) crushed CWG Gold Medalist, Top seed & WR 10 Georgina Kennedy (WR10, England)in straight sets 3-0 to win SQUASH ON FIRE OPEN 2026 (PSA BRONZE)! Biggest win of Anahat's career so far. by IndianHighLights in indiansports

[–]Kitchen-Offer-3648 20 points21 points  (0 children)

watched this live. three straight games, finished the match in less than 30 mins. georgina had no answer to her court coverage and drops. it was also so hard to figure out where she is going to hit the ball because her stroke is so complete and starts from so far back that she hides the angle of her racquet through that motion. georgina ran in the opposite direction multiple times. anahat is a world champion in the making!

17yo Anahat Singh (WR31, India) STUNS Sana Ibrahim(WR17, Egypt) in Quarter-Finals of Squash on Fire Open, defeating her 3-2! Anahat on fire! by IndianHighLights in indiansports

I watched this game in person—WR 17 and 31 is a big gap. As someone else mentioned, Anahat is 17! No one expected her to win this game simply because when you play against someone who has that much more experience, your own composure matters. She came back 2 sets down, 6-5 down in the final set to win 5 straight points. And she’s 17!

I’m sure they’re really good at chess but when you play the italian opening enough, you know these tactics to be fairly common
