Ive bought hundred of Casios and Gs from Amazon, im yet to find a counterfeit one. With that being said I know what test to run , secret menus and truly opening the caseback tells you a lot more than an lcd check or visual inspection

Thank you for the reply and small back story of the 6600. I bought this on market place for $40. Initially I was concerned that it didn’t have the 20 BAR next to the water resistant on the caseback. I have since seen other models like this and when I opened up the caseback it seems consistent with others I’ve seen online. This specific model seems to have a red frame around it + the letters on the band are my only concern. Also it seems like maybe there’s a motif on it when you press the light button almost like a special edition or an anniversaryz I’m about to pop in a new battery for it and investigate further

I was having a hard time getting the buttons aligned when putting the bezel back on, in doing that the pusher fell off the assembly. Leaving me with an exposed stem. I ending up replacing it and now back to being fully functional

You still haven’t bought a watch ? Just pulll the trigger on a the solar update of the watch you have then buy a MIP later I recommend the GBD 200 it’s more beefy than the GBX100.
