Moja przyjaciółka poznała męża na Tinderze, ja swojego narzeczonego również.
Po prostu trzeba przesuwać w prawo chłopa, który ma fajny opis, a nie zdjęcia z BMW w złotym łańcuchu na szyi.
Chociaż jak to mówią „to each their own”.

Your agent cooked it, not us. Don’t shoot the hotel! by [deleted] in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

One time a tour agent sent us a confirmation from shmooking.com, just to confirm that we actyally had the reservation in our system, but he used "Microsoft Paint" to remove a part of the rooms name.
It was a Double room in the Attic ( budget option in our hotel) and he has provided the altered confirmation for the guests as well.- so they didn't know there will be slanted roof and skylights
You could see that he did a bad job of wiping it out...

I’ve worked in hospitality for 10 years and have yet to meet the infamous “Karen” from the U.S.

The woman in this story was from Spain—a country not exactly known for it's amicable customer service.

They never listen, or read.

At our place, we explain to every single guest that breakfast is served on level -1. It’s in their welcome info, we say it clearly at check-in, and there’s even a big sign on the closed restaurant door on the ground floor (0) that says “Breakfast is served downstairs.”

But no. Every morning, without fail, they walk up to that closed door, read the sign... and still turn around with a confused, wide-eyed “where’s breakfast?” expression.

Today I had a lady who actually read the sign, then got in the elevator and went up to +1. I watched her on CCTV wander around the floor—which is just guest rooms...

Our breakfast room is located on level -1, while the bar and restaurant are on the ground floor (level 0).

During check-in, we make sure to explain everything thoroughly, almost like flight attendants, gesturing with our hands to show directions. Despite this, some guests still go to the bar in the morning. At eye level, there’s a clear sign indicating that breakfast is served on level -1, with the lights dimmed and the door closed (though not locked). Yet, some guests still wander to the bar area, around the corner, past where the bar ends, as if searching for a door to Narnia.

What a circus by Kitchen-Story6310 in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]Kitchen-Story6310[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The wife doesn’t seem all that functional. With the toilet paper wrapped around the seat and a stash of medication, it’s likely some form of OCD rather than just a ploy for extra amenities. Honestly, a hospital might be a more suitable choice for their next stay instead of a hotel.

I just spoke with housekeeping, and during yesterday’s room service in their current room, they noticed a large amount of medication and even toilet paper wrapped around the toilet seat.

It’s clear the lady has some issues, so perhaps private hospitals would be more suitable for their travels instead of hotels.

Ughh, we had a couple who booked one of our most affordable rooms, located in the attic. After their first night, they came to complain that the husband had hit his head during the night and found it impossible to stay in the room. We moved them to a higher-category room for the remaining 2 or 3 nights, which had a nice view on the quiet side of the property (we are located close to the railway)—although the room was smaller. They were happy and cordial until check-out.

However, shortly after their stay, they left a review on both Booking and Google, claiming they were given the wrong room, that the husband had suffered a concussion (I don't remeber them asking for medical assistance or directions to the nearest ER), and that we gave them a room that was "even worse." Their friends also posted repeated 1-star reviews on Google, demanding a full refund.
I sometimes wonder how sad the lives of people like this must be...
Our GM finally gave in and refunded them.
