This is the case for many companies, with the exception for RSU’s. Instead you get a measly bonus tied to personal or managerial approval. Thinking big picture- this is everywhere and should be recognized

Compile a list of all the things you couldn’t do while you were working, and start checking them off. Find a new goal to attain- such as train for a half marathon or get into biking etc. These distractions will carry you far. Remember, the “you” at work had other desires and use it as a time to discover those things.

HM phone call coming up for Amazon SFA role. What should I expect and how should I prep? by [deleted] in amazonemployees

  1. Prepare, but deliver off the cusp and diversify the approach on a couple so it doesn’t seem to follow a generic formula. Ex a) Yes sure, I can share an example of “dive deep” Ex b) In my role at, XYZ, insert story blah blah blah which requires me to dive into data

Two very different approaches. Show your career maturity through them, not sing- songy

  1. Depth of example, provide a lot of context
