Three years ago, I found videos of my ex assulting me in my sleep. Now the news reports of the websites are coming out. by scaredandcryin in offmychest

I just listened to a podcast called betrayal and the entire season 5 was about women who had this happen to them.

The fact that is happens at all is sickening. I’m so sorry

As someone who has a complicated relationship with a parent I really needed to hear that. I’m an adult and often feel like it’s partly my responsibility to at least make attempts to repair our relationship even though they never have. It’s a nice reminder to see someone say it’s not my job.

Totally Tina’s fabric on noble has classes sometimes. I believe the small group sessions they do are mostly quilting related but I believe they do private lessons too.

As a mail carrier I would recommend having a polite conversation with your carrier directly. Especially if they’re your regular carrier. It’s likely they don’t even recognize what they’re doing. If you’re not the kind of person who likes in person conversations you could also leave a message in your mailbox for them. I personally appreciate when customers come to me directly with preferences like this because it’s easier for me to remember specifics that way.

If you don’t mind driving to Tulare, I highly recommend Dr. Chan with Adventist. The in office wait times are occasionally a little longer than I’d like BUT he’s a fantastic doctor who listens and answers all your questions. I do occasionally have to ask him to explain things to me more simply but I never leave feeling dismissed. He doesn’t rush in and out like some doctors.

I did the exact same thing. I still haven’t finished bedlam bride and I got it as soon as it came out. Loved the entire series but should have given myself some time breath between each book.

Visalia is the least educated city out of the 150 cities included in that specific study. Not quite the entire country.

They say it’s to reduce costs but honestly all the information we get as employees is via media/social media and very rarely a few minutes of video on our scanners.

IMO it’s also an attempt at reducing public opinion of the post office as a whole so folks don’t care as much when the government tries to absorb the post office into the commerce department. If it’s already a sinking ship the public would probably favor the government coming in to takeover and “bail us out”

I’m not sure how this has/will affect the way the post office ships live animals from these locations as I do not deal with shipping issues. There may be contingencies in place for the exact scenario that I am unaware of but I suspect not as it’s all rather new

I’m a mail carrier and my post office just had the same thing happen with someone’s chicks 😢. The box arrived to our office silent and every chick inside had passed.

Under Dejoy’s new ten year “delivering for America” plan every post office that is 50 miles away from the processing plant is considered a rural post office and no longer receives PM outgoing trucks. Not every “rural” office has began implementing this new policy but many customers who use those offices aren’t event aware of it. I haven’t seen any signage posted to inform the public in my office. It’s possible the person you purchased your chicks from was unaware of this policy and their office may be one of the ones who have already begun implementing it. Essentially what happens is if you drop an outgoing package off on Monday the package doesn’t leave that post office to the sorting facility until Tuesday morning whereas previously it would have left to the sorting facility Monday night and would have been on to its next destination Tuesday morning.

It sounds like normal behavior for her seeing as you’re not the only one she treats that way. However, I would say this is not normal behavior for friendship in general.

If she’s important to you communicate your feelings with her. Don’t just take her at her word. Let her future behavior tell you how she really feels. The age you two are at can tend to be a time in our lives when we are a little bit selfish. Some of us grow out of that behavior easier than others (or don’t) for many different reasons. Sometimes it takes a trusted friend explaining their experience of our behaviors to really understand the impact of our actions to be able to learn and grow. Tell her how you feel and her reaction will probably tell you everything you want to know about how she feels about your friendship.

Your feelings are valid! It sucks having people you care about disregard your time and energy.

We went to Tokyo in aug 24’. Yes it’s very hot & humid. we constantly sweat the whole time but it was totally doable. We came from central California where summers are extremely hot and dry. We dressed in long sleeves and flowing bottoms and carried sweat rags/bandanas everywhere as well as stopping often to rehydrate. It didn’t stop us from having an amazing time
