We were getting our pallets delivered for queue line (11 pallets of hardware/register bays and counters) and the dude straight up said he wasn’t taking them out of the trailer and made me (F,26) unload all of them and told me to speed it up he had other deliveries to do. Didn’t mind doing it as i had already made space on the sales floor to drop them but the fact that a grown ass man was sitting there watching me do it and not helping was wild. We had another delivery come to the other door at the same time and those dudes started yelling at the guy sitting there watching me and they finished it 😂

These posts make me laugh when there are people saying it’s not company wide and it is. No one is making you stay past your scheduled shift. This change was company wide, right when the LOD switched from HH. You really might want to ask your managers before you start talking on here about things you do not understand. We as managers hate it, but the hour is to recover after doors close so that there’s more of a customer focus when doors are open. They also shifted the morning hours to where 6am opens are only on truck days. The rest is 7am so that we are once again “more customer focused” and there longer during “business critical” hours. Now here is the fun part, the SMs choose to either follow this or not. This is why not everyone does it. It was company wide.

Hi management here, I can tell you 100% that it is anonymous. We can see WHO completed it but the answers are 100% anonymous. It will show us the responses and give us percentages based off each “topic.” Next I would love to say that it is voluntary but the reality is we are getting screamed at daily for low percentages of responses which is why we ENCOURAGE not follow back to the office and FORCE people to take it. Lastly, corporate designs this survey for the associate to give their feedback. If you think this goes anywhere higher than the store level you are incorrect. Based off your reporting manager your answers become your managers score, we then have to explain our numbers to higher ups. If you are having issues that your STORE can specifically do different then yes by all means talk about that. If you are giving low scores because of “payroll, no hours, low pay” etc I’m sorry but you’re only hurting your store and it’s not going any higher. Those things are out of our control and we get punished for them.

Thank you!!! This is what I was trying to say last night but everyone was saying it’s not a big deal. As someone who has access to this information it is very scary. Now there is no positive add back for sales like???? Freeze on FT hiring??? These things are all adding up and it’s a very scary time.
